And in a week I got the result that I could only get in a month before. So I decided to stick to this diet in the future. I'm happy to watch all your videos, they give me good new food for thought. Hi Tracy- Thanks for sharing this informative video. I loved that, throughout this video, you mentioned on multiple occasions that this is what "you" eat in a day and that everyone is going to be different, so not to blindly copy what you eat as that may not be sustainable long term. After following you for years, I was able to loose all my post partum weight and through your coaching and sharing, I am now focusing on longevity as opposed to just "weight loss". It has to be a lifestyle. As I am originally for India, I have been able to make changes to my Indian diet to reap the most benefits with a focus on legumes, chicken and healthy veggies. Turmeric which is anti inflammatory is part of every meal. I continue to incorporate rice in my diet and that works for "me". I also don't succumb to fads. Having sustainability as a mindset is important if you are in this for the long haul. Thanks also for creating awareness around menopause and that you had to make changes. While I am away from that season, the information you share will definitely help me plan for it. Even as I am progressing in terms of age, there are modifications I made in my 30s. I was able to get away with a lot more in my 20s and I love that you mention that- we just want to pivot and work it through. It is having that awareness and being in-sync with your body, and what works for you. Thank you, again, "beautiful person", for sharing this. These videos mean a lot and I appreciate you sharing! ❤

Congratulations, Kavya, on your postpartum weight loss success. Focusing on health first will serve you well. After all my years of working with women, those focused on health and quality of life achieved their goals and sustained weight loss, while their counterparts fell short. It sounds like you've found what works for you, and I love that you tune out the noise. Your success makes complete sense. Keep up the great work. As always, I appreciate your loyal watching and thoughtful messages. Have a lovely weekend.

Great video, thank you for sharing. I was wondering why you eat only egg whites and not the whole egg? Do you not like them or are you avoiding the 5 grams of fat in the egg? The egg yolk is much healthier than an egg white. It contains vitamins B12, B2, A, and vitamin D as well as folate, lipids and minerals. I’m always very curious when I see people eating only egg whites, as that used to be the recommendations when everything was “zero fat/low fat”. No judgement from me, just curious!
@TracyHensel8 ай бұрын
Thank you! Great Question. I actually love the yolk even more than the whites. You are correct that egg yolks are a healthy form of fat and contain many nutrients. I do include them in my diet occasionally, but on the day I shared what I ate, you will see I had other healthier fats, for example, avocado and olive oil. Salmon also contains healthy fat. I am not in a place where I can eat it all just because it's healthy/nutritionally dense and stay within my caloric allowance for that day. Many healthy eaters cannot manage their weight because they consume too much food/calories. I'm highly dialed in on how much I can eat daily and maintain my weight/physique goals. These videos are tricky because they open up a lot of assumptions from viewers that the person sharing is 'against' or 'doesn't like' a particular food. I tried to cover that in this video. I know it's a lot of information and can be missed.

When you had children at home, did you make separate meals for them? 3 out of 4 of my children are grown and out of the house, but I still have a 10-year-old son at home that I want to feed healthy food. I'm also 53 and struggling to get 10 lbs off I've gained in the last year. I did IF for the last 4 yrs, even going to omad in the last year. I recently started exercising which I haven't done in many yrs.

Yes, I prepared a full dinner daily for the family. I have a video from several years ago covering how I followed a Clean eating Diet while preparing dinner for my family and how I cooked my food while preparing theirs. I had a well-oiled system, just as I do today. I still prepare a dinner a few days per week for my husband and 18-year-old. Every Friday, I prepare a family dinner for the adult children with their families. Pasta Bolognese is on the radar for this Friday. It's all about planning ahead for me. You will shed the 10 lbs. once you clean up your diet. The exercise program will complement it nicely. I have found that I must eat different foods and quantities than I did in my 40s. You really have to adjust if you want to maintain your weight. I have a couple of videos covering the topic with strategies to consider. It can be done, but you must be willing to put in the hard work. Most CHOOSE not to. Which is okay, but it has nothing to do with age and everything to do with choices. Those of us who get the job done face the same daily choices. We choose what aligns with the goal. You got this! Good Luck!

Hi Angie! Sure, I can. First, let me encourage you to follow and watch me on Instagram Stories, where I share my weekly hosting. My kids are all adults and out of the home, except one. My only adult child still in the house is a senior in High School and a college student. I cook for her and my husband. In addition, we host Friday Family Dinner, where we watch our grandchildren all day. When their parents (our kids) get out of work, we have dinner prepared and ready to feed them and their families. We also host most family gatherings. I am the entertainer in both my and my husband's families. Paul and Chloe fend for themselves for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. I cover dinners. Please look at my family dinners video on KZbin for more details.

What age will I stop being concerned about gaining weight?
@TracyHensel8 ай бұрын
Hello. No one has that answer, but I would love to help if you have considered coaching. Once you become concerned about your health and ''quality of life, a shift MAY occur. This is where real growth and self-increase occur. Numbers are great measures of our success. They are to our advantage if we use them as a tool. If you see the # on the scale as punishment, there's likely much more going on inside than just the concern with weight gain. Most likely, something from childhood and adolescence has manifested into negative self-talk and skewed beliefs. Coaching and therapy are wonderful modalities for working through inner setbacks and negative self-talk.

I'm sorry to hear you din't work with the right trainers. Good ones are hard to come by. All us Menopausal women can relate to a new world opening up, can't we?Don't lose hope. Once you 'choose' to clean up your diet , reduce intake and switch your workout routine to compliment THIS Menopausal season you'll start getting the results you desire. Not all trainers are versed in working with Menopausal women who are losing muscle mass at a rapid pace and still craving the food and calorie intake they got away with in their 30's & 40's. I've worked with hundred's of Pre & Menopausal women (including myself) who believed there was no hope, after all that's what society promotes, only to find out they weren't putting the work in. Once they came to terms with that, threw out the excuses and made the changes, they started succeeding at their goal and their confidence has soared as a result. I love empowering women to rise above in this season and stop believing what society is telling them about Menopause and weight gain. As I always say, we are where we deserve to be based on our choices. Menopause is NOT doing this to us. We are. I hope you find comfort and hope. You cant do it! I'm rooting for you!

Well according to what you’re saying then you are still doing a smaller version of intermittent fasting. Perhaps you never thought of it that way. You have more frequent meals but there’s a long space between your last meal of the day and your first meal the next day. So you would still get the benefits of IF or at least a good long digestive rest. Thanks for sharing. 😊
