I love your relatable no makeup videos .. And I wear makeup and love it … Today I visited my dad in a rehab for his leg / nursing home , then kids soccer game , my husband is at football with my other son and we have a birthday at 5:30 .. I know you too, we’re a sports mom .. This video was a small blip in my day but it made me connect with something real , and just slow down for 10 minutes…and made me reflect and brought me back to what’s important, and that is to “ feel something “ instead of just always numbing out .. As an older mom to 2 boys , I treasure these videos ❤

Thank you. I appreciate it. I’m delighted to hear watching the video helped you slow down a bit. You’re indeed in a busy season, but it sounds like you are managing the ‘busy’ well and have a positive attitude, which makes all the difference in a happy, thriving home. Keep up the great work, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thank you Tracy; I watched this beautiful, powerful message twice! Life experience continually teaches me that most of my struggles come from within. The enemy knows my weak spots…he plants the seed but I choose whether or not to allow that “weed” to take root & grow. Thank you for ALL of your guidance & wisdom; I continue to learn so much & you add GREAT value to my life! Have a beautiful, blessed weekend!! ❤❤❤

Good Morning, Amy! Oh, I loved hearing that you watched the video twice to capture every nugget. I appreciate the thoughtful message and how you find guidance and seek wisdom from my messages, which bring value to your life. God Bless you for sharing that. I am touched. It’s so true; life experiences create a lot of inner havoc if we let them. The enemy will focus his strongest assaults on the weak areas of our lives, especially those who devote their time and betterment to the Lord. The enemy will squeeze, distract, harass, incite, oppress, entice, and intimidate to get us to curtail what we are working on. You are not alone. This year has been one of many tests for me. But I am one of the ‘h*//’ of a mentally stronger woman as a result. Be well, my friend. You have this! Keep pushing on! Have a beautiful and blessed weekend!

Thank you for this amazing message. My feelings are my responsibility - something that speaks to my habit of swearing when i'm brought to frustration and the realisation that this 'emotional tantrum' is very childish and MY responsibility to reframe. I'm committed to breaking this habit and finding ways to express my frustrations less intensely. I'm creating these cards as I'm a 'studier' like yourself and need to meditate on life giving realisations daily until they become automatic and a 'renewing of the mind'. Thank you Tracy.

Thank you for sharing, Dorothy. You added so many well-articulated nuggets to the phrase, 'My feelings are my responsibility.' What you shared capitalized on exactly how I see the power of these daily readings in my life. I can only hope that your message, Dorothy, will also benefit everyone who watches my video. Your contribution is truly appreciated. God Bless! Have a lovely weekend! Keep studying.

Never thought I could adore and love someone on the internet. Thank you for using it as a tool to share and spread the word. You sharing authentically and unapologetically gives someone like me permission to do the same🤍 You have no idea what a gift! This will be one to stew and chew on ;) Hope you have a wonderful day!

Awesome thoughts. I have a notebook instead of cards but same idea. "Do I want to free myself from the suffering that started from some offense but has continued by how I live my life?" I also add "do I want to free my family?" I had an abusive childhood but now have 4 daughters. I realized that if I did not make the decison to allow the Lord to heal me, they and my husband, would suffer indirectly as a result. It really hasn't been easy but I wanted so badly to be capable of healthy relationships that the Lord and I did the hard work and He held my hand through the process. We are never alone as that last verse promises. He is a good God and has good plans for us. ❤ Thanks for sharing your processes and heart thoughts.

Tracy, i am wondering what you think about women that dont really try on their appearance . I know you like to get your hair, nails, facials, clothes dry cleaned. you always look verrry nice and put together. I am one that doesn’t pay to do any of those things.. i just like to stay lean and in shape by going to the gym consistently. but i would like to know if i need to try harder, in terms of what i wear and getting hair and nails done and also dressing more fashionable and classy. do you think it will make me more confident and make me more able to achieve more in my life? What is the purpose of having ourselves so put together like yourself? i would love to hear your opinion 🥰

I wouldn't do something that's not you. I think a more natural, easy look is in today instead of harsh makeup, clothes, etc. Do you. I'm sure you're gorgeous!
@TracyHenselКүн бұрын
Thank you for the lovely compliment on how I put myself together when going out or attending a celebration or event. I don't personally feel any more confident when I am put together vs. when I'm not. While the contrast feels good, it bears no weight on my confidence. There is absolutely no need to do something that does not serve us. We have no control over how other people see us. In knowing that, stay true to who you are and what is important to you. Only you have the answer to what will make you feel more confident. Good luck.

Tracy, I so miss having a basement! Since moving South from "The Mitten" and having no basement, I've learned to accept that garages are for more than just vehicles by proxy. I've delegated it to my husband and now use the front door. Ha! ❤

When you ask the audience to “sit with it”, that is called radical acceptance. I am always torn between radical acceptance and confrontation. Sometimes radical acceptance is the path of least resistance. And then sometimes I do have to confront things. But that is a way for us to get out of a victim mentality and take ownership over what is happening in our life. We can either choose radical acceptance or confrontation. I also don’t mean confrontation in terms of an argument. It can be an argument I’m having with myself. Like, I know that I am going to miss the deadline, so I’m I am either going to have radical acceptance, and reach out to the project manager or the professor, and say I need an extension. Or I am going to confront it, and do everything that I can do to not miss the deadline. Confrontation doesn’t always, and it almost never should be, about arguing with another person. It’s about us confronting ourselves, and our mindsets, or our limitations.
