I would love to have more regular vlogs! It's very comforting to watch, especially while I'm doing things around the house. Side note - I think you have balanced showing the kids vs not showing them really well in this video, I definitely think it is possible to vlog while also protecting their privacy. Seeing your son workout with you was the cutest thing ❤

We definitely need more vlogs ❤ I love what you're sharing and you're one of the people that inspire me the most. You may think it's just normal life, some basic exercises, a cosy cup of tea in the evening, but actually it's a great reminder to take care of ourselves because we don't live like that anymore, even on the internet there's so much hustle. So much respect for letting your children join you with these activities and having fun, I know it might be easy to get irritated because kids are everywhere, but that's why it's so good to be able to keep up with them. I can not emphasize how those small things are actually so important if not the most important. I found myself in the spot after a busy year and some health problems with my leg, when I have to build those good habits again but also just learn how to relax, just relax, not scroll on my phone or multitask. I wrote a list from your last video of things I want to implement. I really really appreciate that you show your body in every life stage, that you don't use any special filters (ps. I always find you looking amazing) and most importantly taking care of yourself and always finding this balance after chaos. I'm 23, almost 24 and I look up to you. I hope I can someday have a happy, healthy family and my life could turn around and I could achieve something anything, not gonna lie that I lose hope at times, the thought of future can be overwhelming. I'm tired with this thinking and I want to improve, move on ❣

You have inspired me so much Mel. Our sons are similar ages and unfortunately, I became a single mum when he was around 1 years old and as a result, the last few years have been incredibly tumultuous. I also got really unwell after I had Covid and I have felt my health really decline - I was (and still am) really burnt out and I have had many of the same symptoms as you. I am still very much on my healing journey but seeing you do so well has given me some hope! Thank you

Goodness that must have been incredibly challenging...I am so in awe of single parents. But I know that you probably don't FEEL like a superhero you're probably angry that you have to do so much of the parenting without the support of the other parent present which is/would be so valid. I'd really struggle with that. But the fact is you are doing something that so many people could not do...be gentle with yourself, be patient with yourself, that would burn even the strongest person out! With long Covid the biggest thing I've learned is PACING...focusing on positives...doing exercises that calm the nervous system like deep breathing, singing, laughter (funny movies, friends that make you laugh) ANYTHING that makes you feel SAFE, this needs to be consistent

You are delightfully entertaining and hilarious and I look forward to your videos. I appreciate your openness on topics that many don’t talk about because your point of view has helped me feel not so alone. I found your channel through your video about aging in your 30s and it was so helpful for me as someone also noticing signs of aging to hear your thoughts. I got a lot of strength and comfort from that video to feel beautiful and age naturally myself. Do you use cleansing oils morning as well as in the evening? Also what about face wash in the morning...Would you recommend only cleansing oil in the mornings rather than only face wash? When I say 'recommend', I know everyone is different, but is that what you do and have you been doing this routine for long and what sort of benefits have you seen with it? Edit: also can you do a daily makeup and morning wash routine, your skin looks great, have you continued the peels (for the acne scars, because I can't see them really).

Love seeing how you’re managing to fit these things in around your busy parenting life! I’m in a very similar position with my 2 under 3 years, and it’s really helpful to see HOW you fit this stuff in when looking after them at the same time. Just wondering when and what you feed the kids in the evening as it seems like you eat later with Thomas so do they not have the hello fresh meals too?
@melaniemurphyofficial5 ай бұрын
Hey! So, generally we make a meal for the kids a couple of hours before they wind down for bed, sometimes they try bits off our plates! But because Thomas’s job is so all over the place in terms of hours we can’t really have a meal in the evening with all 4 of us consistently…only when he’s working earlies and even then it just doesn’t always happen as sometimes we just are not hungry for dinner at the time they’d need to be eating! But for their dinner we play the Tonibox and whichever one of us is supervising will sit with them and nibble on their food and chat to them 🥰❤️ We serve them things we know they eat alongside something ‘new’ that they haven’t yet tried! So while we know they will eat say lentil pasta we don’t know if they will eat the chopped or cooked veg and we don’t pressure them we just expose them! There ARE times when I will have an early hello fresh dinner and give some to them but because they are portioned, I end up having to add something else to fill me up like bread or a salad 💓
