In Germany we have frozen Cauliflower Rice, it’s practically unseasoned Cauliflower in small bags. I add some olive oil and soy sauce, garlic, parsley and it tastes just as good as fresh. And it costs less than 2 dollars

Hi Mayra, I just found your channel and so glad I did. I’m 63, post menopausal, and all of a sudden, I can’t maintain my weight. (I also recently retired and right off the bat gained 5 lbs.) I’m a small person, 5’1” and my happy weight is btw 120-125 lbs. Right now I’m at 132 and so afraid I will keep gaining due to lack of physical activity and slower metabolism. You said it all when you said it’s so hard to lose weight because we can’t stick to it. That’s my problem, exactly. Mostly because I get tired of eating the same foods and then I finally give in to the carb cravings and eating sweets. Now that I know about you I will continue to watch for your recipes. The protein shake looked good and curry chicken is one of my favorite dishes. I also learned from you not to eat too much fruit because of the sugars. I do have one question: You fried the salmon and chicken; does that not add calories? I always thought to lose weight one should refrain from eating fried foods. Anyhoots, I can’t wait to watch your other videos and try other delicious recipes so I can eat more healthy! Thank you!

Here in Brazil, one of the best, most traditional smoothies is an avocado (actually, abacate, the bigger, tastier version of the fruit) smoothie. Basically, its abacate, sugar, milk, ice and a aquirt of lemon juice. It's delicious! As is avocado ice-cream. Just adapt it to keto: almond or coconut milk, erythritol and ice and you are good! It's the best smoothie you'll ever have!

Thanks so much for sharing, Myra, and congrats on your weight loss and maintenance! You look amazing and that is very inspiring! I'm looking to lose about 135 pounds, altogether. I've lost about 65 and have another 75 or 80 to go. I love to make my coconut (milk) curry chicken in a crock pot. I can throw the ingredients in there, in the morning, and then come home to a lovely meal, along with the cauliflower rice. I definitely recommend it, for those who are short on time. I also make extra portions and freeze them, for future meals.

Here's one I altered that you got ahold of from someone else, who you did give credit too (I like that). Anyhow, I made the chicken crust pizza, and love it! Thanks so much for all you do! You are helping so many! I direct people who become interested with the way to eat proper to you quite often! As for my journey...I began Feb 28, 2022 at 235lbs. I am now 190lbs, off all but 1 medication for T2D, my blood sugar is 5.7 now, my BP is 132/80 and all else in a great range! I am 61yrs old and play like I'm 40, sometimes 30! The first few times when the recipe is new it's great then after a couple of weeks, it starts to feel like a LOT of work even though nothing has changed. Your own energy level is what has changed. So for me, if I can do a hack, I'm going for it. My boys love pork chops, steak and greens every day. It takes maybe 20 minutes but even that is a lot of commitment some days. Then I just offer take-out or Cub Friend chicken. :) This Cancer Mom is just too tired to cook!

Choose good spring lamb, young goat, deer, bison over beef or pork for protein and fat For meat and dairy products choose free range or pasture grazed then organic if affordable For dairy like yougurt or milk go with highest grade of fat and eat less and moderately For dairy products go for mostly plain yogurt, feta and goat cheese with no starch, sugar, gelatin, and/or added artificial flavour or colour or additives or food stabilizer. Think of real good food products with probiotics and prebiotics such as onion, garlic, quality cottage cheese, flax or sesame seeds and MCT oil, kafir, sauerkraut... Consume less rich gluten products and zero down products with lectin for most part. Grain like wild oats and Rye are recommended. For bread go with the ones that has only 3 to 5 ingredients contains no canola oil and made with kumut, oats, rye and some nutrient rich seeds and grains for fiber and good fat Enjoy your home style minful food preparation and consumption Be conscious about snacking time, type, amount.... I had a gastric sleeve last year. I only eat 5.5 ounces of food at a time. Breakfast for me is a struggle!! Protein shakes is my main barrier. I can’t stand any of those store bought pre made shakes. No luck with protein powders either. I do have a bunch of recipes for smoothies but my problem is that all the protein powders I have tried, will change the flavor and I will not drink it. I’m going to give that protein powder a try. But if anyone can recommend a good protein powder with no flavor on it, I’ll appreciate! I just found your channel not too long ago, and I’m ready to go for those extra 20 pounds that I’m missing for my final weight and I’m going to start seeing all your videos to get ideas! I’ve been able to maintain my weight for more than a year, but I’m so bored of my food choices. Thank you for sharing!!

Great recipes. I have been on keto diet and already lost 65lbs. I only eat 30g of total carbs per day due blood sugar issues. But so far its worked for me. Unfortunately i can’t go by net carbs

Lp.❤
