(I sub in spelt flour, and use a whole egg instead of just the white, and add a spoonful of honey)

Chicken Noodle soup recipe:
Cook the following in at least 2 liters of water for 2-4 hours:
Chicken, leek, rutabaga, carrots, celery, bay leaves, parsley, sage, rosemary and oregano or thyme, 1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp of pepper. Add 1 spoon of apple cider vinegar. Bring to a boil and lower to a simmer. Filter, chop up meat and vegetables and cook pasta in broth if desired. Top with Parmesan cheese.

Juice Gummy bear recipe:
1 cup of juice of choice
3 tbsp pure unflavored gelatin
1 tbsp maple syrup
Heat juice and sweetener until simmering. Whisk in gelatin. Pour into desired mold and refrigerate for 2 hours. Keep refrigerated.
Broiled Aburi Style Salmon:
Combine 1 tsp miso, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil and 2 tbsp mayo. Brush on boneless thin salmon fillets and broil in very hot oven for 5-8min until cooked through and seared.
Serve with stir fried vegetables over brown rice for sushi style grain bowl.

This soup is magical! Thank you so much for sharing. I started to feel sick on a Sunday, so I gathered the ingredients and made the soup that evening. I had the soup for lunch and dinner on Monday when I felt much worse. But when I woke up Tuesday morning I was nearly fully recovered! I have never bounced back from an illness that fast and I give the soup all the credit.

That salmon recipe looks awesome! I'm definitely going to try it. I never thought to broil the salmon with the spicy mayo sauce. I always thought of it as a cold/dipping sauce. You should definitely get a culinary torch, you won't regret it! It's so nice for finishing meats, creme brulee, and aburi-style sashimi :)

Since you seem to be some kind of a superwoman -dayjob, businesses, hobbies, cooking, always looking so put together etc etc and yet you always seem so happy and in a good mood. Thanks again for a great video. I do make the soup frequently and appreciate the apple cider vinegar tip. I never heard that. A huge yes to the cheese on top. Most times I will add a hunk of cheese rind as it cooks. Really flavors the broth.

Good video, thanks! It’s good to hear you’re feeling better. Something I swear by for the stomach flu or stomach related issues, is Welch’s Grape Juice. The reason why this can help, is cause it’s alkaline based and our bodies have too much acidity in them. So it balances everything out. You want to save the citrus for colds and the flu (respiratory.) Obviously, though always check with a doctor for what’s best, but this is what I’ve heard and go by. It always helps me. And why Welch’s? They use Concord grapes, as opposed to just any kind of grape. Also, stay away from sugar when you’re fighting an illness. 🙂

I have those exact same gummy molds with squeeze droppers, LOL! I own a dessert business and am toying with the idea of making champagne and merlot gummy bears. Get the butcher to do it! They do a cleaner job than the hacked up butchering I do at home haha. Cover edamame bowl with salt added and microwave a couple minutes. Awesome snack as well xx
