I was blown away when I heard dates and food addiction - I cannot have dates in the house without eating the entire container. They literally will just speak to me ALL DAY. And yes, I do get help for food addiction and need to abstain from certain foods. I just hate that sometimes it is the healthy ones that cause me issues.

Hi Ami! I am so excited for you getting your Ninja Creami! I have one snd we also use it everyday! In answer to your question about creami recipes.. i have 2 favorites that I developed. 1. I make an enormous thick smoothie in the morning for breakfast with soy milk, kale, spinach, arugula, blueberries, 1/2 cup dry oats, 2 tbl ground flax seed, banana, and sometimes add a little cocoa powder. I divide in half and fill one ninja creami pint container. Freeze and then eat for dinner or dessert at night. Whole food plant based and yummy! My other one is roasted hannah yams and smash one or 2 depending on size with some soy milk (always unsweetened) and maybe a little piece of banana and vanilla. Freeze in pint and run through the Ninja. Even my picky family think it's the best vanilla ice cream they've ever had! Love you Ami and your preciou lil family! Thank you for being so inspiring and fun! ❤

My fave creamy cheezy sauce that we eat on everything is made with roasted carrots & cauli, onions & spuds, all blended up with some soy milk, turmeric & garlic & onion powder. Plus a few tbs or a splash of ....anything & everything I can find on the door of the fridge! (lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, miso, nooch, seeded mustard, minced red chillis...etc) BUT the bit that makes all the difference is my secret ingredient! Garlic bulbs! Heaps of them. Roasted till they're all tan and caramelised and gooey!💥👍

In case you don't get a response from Ami, I'd suggest one of the other white beans like navy, great northern, or cannellini. They have a smoother texture. Other than for hummus, chickpeas are my least favorite. I'm eating all gobi right sauce and I added a can of beans (don't remember which one of the 3 I mentioned) to some plant milk and cashews to make a sauce. Completely smooth!
