Thank you for this Kristi I am also anemic but I didn't know the uncommon symptoms. I have been so itchy all over my body I didn't know what to do. I'm always exhausted and my brain fog has gotten worse especially with a new medication my neurologist gave me for my migraines. I appreciate you so much and will keep you in prayer. 🙏🏼

Kristi, I never comment but my 13yr old Maltese had x-ray confirmed bladder stones. Since he was 13, options were limited of what I wanted to consider. We tried the (terrible) science diet food for stones….no go…made him very sick. An operation was not an option. I did some research and there was a brand of bladder stone med I found on Amazon. I decided to try these as it was only ACV and cranberry. It worked! We did this for about a month and had another X-ray and they are gone. I do stress if you decide to try that you make sure he eats before given this chewable so he has something to coat his stomach as it is acidic. The product is Coco and Luna for bladder stones. I can’t post link but if you search, you will find. I was shocked bc he had large stones. It broke them up! Oh and also….I am cancer survivor and went through iron deficiency. I used Perfect Desiccated Liver Powder….grass fed. I put it in my smoothie and you can’t taste it and it really helps! Prayers for Quincy and you!

Kristi, you mentioned you cleaned up your keto/low carb. Had great blood sugar results. Please do a followup video giving specific changes you made. Glad you got your iron checked. Have you had your Iron Stores checked..my regular bloodwork for my Iron looked ok. But I kept complaining with tiredness and my doctor checked my Iron Stores and they were extremely low. So Iron pills for me.. I am a type 2 diabetic. Hope you feel better and your pup as well

So sorry for little Quincy. I am also sorry that you are anemic. Cracks in the corner of the mouth is not fun (been there). Hugs & prayers to you both. Have you had your thyroid checked? Sometimes that can contribute to low iron. I took desiccated liver pills to bring my iron up and it worked. It's nasty, but I managed to get them down. It says to take 4 a day, but I took 2 and got good results, but then I am tiny (5 ft, 105 lbs) I would take it right after my meal. The brand I take is from Perfect Supplements and its on Amazon.

Strawberry might be your least favorite but girlfriend, it looks like your pretty nails. QUESTION: I am curious how you react or if you react to the apple juice concentrate in the Starburst drinks with your T1D. So sorry about Quincy, hope all goes well with your sweet little baby. ❤ Do you eat organs? Liver? I wasn’t always a fan but started eating them and dipped them in egg, carnivore crisp chicken flour and fried them up and then salted them. I noticed that I felt better and then tried to eat them about twice a week. I never associated it with brain fog, but now that you mentioned it, I believe that it has helped. I have to admit that I drowned them in ranch dressing at first. I think it was the thought of eating it that grossed me out. But now that I’m over the ick factor, I eat them regularly and my body can tell when I don’t (especially headaches). Maybe try it and see.? I can remember eating beef liver at my granny’s house when I was little. She’d smother it in onions and I’d ask for more. 😊

No, I don't absorb those nutrients. The only thing that works are infusions

I too had to get iron infusion, my doctor recommended having an ablation (Aug) so I would quit bleeding every month. Low and behold haven't had to get an infusion yet.

Okay I have to tell you this. One of my fur babies did the exact same thing, first they butchered him by turning him into a girl,If you know what I mean, then they did I don't know , but anyway they ended up killing him. Yes this was way back in 2010, yes, I am still angry about it. I saying all this to say, Please be sure you have a expert Vet do the surgery.. I think I would have tried medicine first. anyway, I am going to to pray that things work for the best.
