I was a pediatric nurse for 28 years and worked with hundreds of diabetics. The pump is a wonderful thing. I've had children as young as 2nd grade successfully manage their diabetes with adult supervision. And by supervision, I mean just double-checking the numbers they put into their insulin pump. It is ssssooo easy to learn to use.

Hi sweet lady Kristi, I haven't been on your channel in awhile . But truly have missed you. Just thought I'd tell u I've finally lost a good 30 lbs plus.. I've been counting calories and keeping a daily journal of what I've eaten... I have anything I want but don't go over 1500 to 1800 calories a day. It seems to be working well for me. Hi Kristi. Hope the pump and CGM work out for you. I have been on the Omnipod 5 and Dexcom g6 combo for quite a while now. Prior to that I was using the Omnipod Dash and Freestyle Libre. I have been Type 1 (adult onset) for 30 years now. You can do this!

I lost 150 lbs doing low carb 20 years ago. Ive kept it off thankfully but have stayed 175 and no matter what i do it wont budge. I am 61 years old and a type 2 diabetic. 4 monyhs a go my a1c was 13.9. I went back on low carb and lantus long acting insulin. Last month my a1c went down to 7.1. Thats good but i cant lose anything and I actually gained 5 lbs the last two week's. Dr says i dont eat enough carbs which i dont. I dont know what to do . Im glad my sugars are doing good but I need to lose more weight. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Try lavender oil and water spray for fleas. They also don't like cedar. So maybe try cedar blocks under the sofa, bed, etc. I use Advantage flea med on the cat.

Kristi, I hope these changes help you, even if you're stressed about them right now. As for the Summer Freeze, I asked the Pepsi guy who was stocking the shelf about a month ago and he said it was a limited edition summer flavor and that Pepsi didn't expect it to be so popular. He also said that it was popular enough that it would be back next summer. I've been rationing mine as well but I'm down to my last 2 cans. I did see the Faygo in the Dollar Tree had a rocket Pop flavor but mine didn't have the sugar free so I can't speak to the flavor.

I’m sorry that you are dealing with this. I hope that the pump helps you. 💕 We have had a rough month and a half…. Let’s just say that things have been a little crazy! Personal things going on and we had to replace a water heater! I’m over all of it. I did start lifting weights again (after years) and upped my protein intake. It is really helping me as I have severe autoimmune issues. I’m getting close to 50 and my body doesn’t seem to like me at the moment. 💕

Last week I received my first Mocha Keto Brick. I've got to get them melted down and portioned into bite size treats. I wanted to eat the whole thing eventhough I had already eaten. Best fat bomb I've ever had. Whatever diet I'm doing I still need my coffee and chocolate. I hope the new system eliminates your highs and lows. I've had some scary lows while driving. Once it happened while I was passing around a semi on a two lane highway, and everything went spinning. God had to have been in control of the car at that moment. I felt like I was being pulled under the semi. I shook for a long time when the dizzy spell passed. That is an awful feeling, and really frightening.

We use diatomaceous earth to control fleas. I hate having to deal with them, so stressful! We use Frontline Plus on our pets to help as well. I hope this plan with a pump works out as well for you as it has for others. You have dealt with enough, time for something easy!!

I have been wearing the G6 for awhile and I did the G7 for a couple weeks but I found that I like the G6 better

@@SouthernKristi the only difference is that the G7 is a one piece unit and smaller verses the G6 which is a two piece unit and bigger but they do the same thing a the G7 is not recommended for the stomach area as the G6 is hope this info is helpful god bless

My son has Type 1. He was diagnosed at 6 years old now 22. 2:09 2:10 2:11 He has the Dexcom G6. My sister was diagnosed at 16 now 48 and wishes she had the pump and dexcom since she was diagnosed. It would have helped her stay more regulated instead of lows and highs which has caused other autoimmune problems. Together they will help you tremendously! Love your videos!

Just a thought... I found that I am super sensitive to preservatives, especially those in liquid drinks and my main symptom is brain fog. I know you have other reasons for it but I wonder if the drink preservatives might be adding to your misery? I also take meds that cause some brain fog, not diabetic meds, but since I stopped drinking things besides water, coffee, tea and LMNT the brain fog has gotten a bit better. I feel like I can function better and remember things better anyway. Saying this in case it might help you too. I do realize people are unique though so no judgement or pressure here, just the care and concern. Take care of yourself and I hope and pray these new things make a world of difference for you. ❤️
