I really admire how honest you are about how you don’t have energy these days and purple carrot helping you out like, this is the most realistic video I’ve come across vegan vloggers. I meal prep for my husband and grocery plan everything snacks breakfast dinners like everything. It’s truly exhausting and we don’t even have kids and still find ourselves eating out on the days I have to meal prep because I simply don’t have energy to cook a different meal or eat the same meal we’re about to eat during the week. Kudos to you, I applaud you 👏 for being so honest. I’ve been a fan of yours since like 2015 I think or 2014 so yeah I’ve watched your channel grow & it’s all well deserved. Please do a vegan charcuterie board. What plant based cheeses would you suggest? This is tricky. I have heard it best to offer a variety of cheeses based on taste and texture but I just want cheeses that are tasty enough for a cheese lover to eat straight of the board with satisfaction. Also there are the meats themselves. Tasty meat alternatives that would do justice to the board. I have seen a couple of videos but I would love to see your take on it.

I absolutely recommend the meal kits if you are starting to transition to being plant-based. It is actually like a cooking class in a box!!! I will order one up if I am feeling in a rut and have no ideas for meals. I upped my veggie content just by following techniques like a quick saute' of any kind of green goes well on top of almost everything and boosts nutrition, in turn making me feel full longer and I have way more energy. I am a breast cancer survivor, so my progress is slow, but I have made the most progress on recovery with the food I eat now :) Bless you for this channel I love your recipes!!!

That's for sharing. One thing to remember is that breast feeding will take everything out of you. The old women around me used to always tell me that I had to eat twice as much as I used to eat before I had the baby because your body has to not only make the milk but also has to be enough to give you energy. Don't worry about gaining the weight because your body will burn it off and you won't even gain weight eating more remember that and I bet you'll feel a whole lot better good luck to you thanks again for sharing.

@kaylawaters26914 жыл бұрын
I'm low waste too. It annoys me how much plastic is on stuff or around stuff. I think it's impossible to be zero waste (as I find myself still receiving various junk mail, making an unexpected purchase so I don't have my shopping bag with me, or craving food or drink when I'm away from home sometimes and don't have my reuseable cup or bottle so I end up creating waste) but low waste is really about as far as we can get within reason.

i have seen so many vegan baby malnourishment horror stories that I would be scared to force my baby to be vegan. The parents of these children acted with the best of intentions and thought they were doing it "right" but the diet was still deficient for the baby. Not every person's body constitution can adapt to veganism. Thus, why there are so many ex-vegans. In my opinion (we can still have one in America still), the vegan diet is a detox diet. I don't think it is a long term health diet. Just look what happened to Matt Monarch. Look him up. That really freaked me out since I considered him very educated on proper vegan nourishment. He sold so many purportedly nutritious products you would never believe he came so close to dying. But in the end everyone has the right to choose what they want to eat and figure out what their body needs. I just worry about babies who have no choice.
