I thought I was checking out yet another vegan cooking channel. but then I was utterly amazed with the depth of the video that captures a healthy life style in its intimate context through the narration of her diary with stunning cinematography.

I have a challenge for you. Make a what I eat in a week that has some meals that don't fit the popular blueprint of what a "perfect" vegan meal should look like in other words either don't contain legumes/protien powder/mock meat or don't have a grain/tuber or don't have a fruit/vegetable or don't contain a nut/seed/avocado/mock cheese or cream and just eat until your full. Some examples include a large muffin, some cookies, vegetable fried rice, (normal) spaghetti and marinara sauce or a lot of chips and guac. These are all normal meals but some people just avoid putting them on camera for the image of a "balanced" diet when the truth of the matter is your body does a lot of the balancing for you. I notice these kinds of patterns with other people because I am partially recovered from an Ed and I still have I still have this issue of wanting my meals to look balanced despite the fact that I know that they don't have to be to be nutritionally good/adaquit but I'm having trouble with getting over it because of what I'm seeing online

Hi Phillip, I don't strictly eat this "perfect popular blueprint" diet all the time. I usually film my wieiaw's when I don't have busy weeksand therefore a lot of time for my cooking (not only to give more meal inspiration but mainly because filming in general/ getting different shots that suit my style of cinematography is very time consuming). I will forever be a spaghetti with tomato sauce lover (or even better: aglio e olio), yet I do notice a difference when it comes to eating more protein. It keeps me fuller for longer & prevents myself from binging. But I don't mind eating dishes that aren't so "perfectly balanced" at all. Maybe I can include some more in my videos! :-)

@@littlelonny @little lonni I kinda wonder 🤔 if it's the protien that makes people feel full or the idea of protien, I mean for example 5 oz of spaghetti with a cup of spinach has about 540 kcal and 26g of protien, while a can of chickpeas with 2 slices of vegan cheese has the same number of calories and 23g of protein same with a combination 50/50 of rice and beans, and 5 oz of bean threads and 2 oz of tofu only has about 5g of protien yet people would expect the chickpeas and the noodles with tofu or rice and beans to make them more full because they expect them to have more protien, and think the spaghetti wouldn't make them full despite this light meal having nearly as much protien as the average woman can use in a day, many products also make completely false nutrition claims especially on the basis of calories and protein, and people often tend to pick up on the placebo effect.

@@littlelonny @little lonni and most of the time bread and pasta are higher in protein than certain lunch meats (such as those made from pork belly) some cheeses, hummus, falafals and certain meat substitutes and almost all nuts and seeds. Yet it is not associated with protein because of people's assumptions

Fair enough 😂 However, not everyone has to go all in. Having one meat free day a week is great as well.
