As someone who also recovered from an eating disorder. I understood you when you were talking about the PB&J! Sandwiches hold a special place in my heart because they were one of the first real foods I ate when recovering.

I really enjoy your what I eat in a week with calories, it shows that eating isn’t just calories and it’s not the same everyday, a good example to not starve yourself and not care about it, I really like when you show how eating enough it’s healthy and promote a healthy relationship with food overall

I lovee when you show the calories, it shows how wrong those “online calorie calculators” are that I obsessed over during my ED. It also shows how many calories a balanced diet needs and that calories literally do not matter at all. Btw i eat pb and jelly EVERY SINGLE DAY. It’s the best🤤

Hello! Maybe you could just include the calories in the description box at the bottom? That way in the beginning of these videos you can just tell us that if we really want to see it, we can check there and then give warning to others who do not wish to know, not to scroll down in the description box? I personally like seeing the calories though! I hope you and everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I'm in recovery and it helps me to see that other people eat way more calories. It encourages me AND shows me that I don't need the exact same number every day. 😇 Awesome video

You need to get over the fact that you need other people to eat more than yourself. What if one day the friend you eat with is not hungry? Are you gonna skip eating even if you are starving ? I know its easier said than done. I went through the same ed shit Think about it. You dont need anyones approval to feed your body. Your body deserves food, deserves you to take care of her for everything she allows you to do. Youve got this, you are stronget than you think and you will overcome this.

Personally I think you have done an amazing job with the “What I eat” vids where you track the calories. I feel as though they have served their purpose in helping your viewers feel comfy with varying their caloric intake daily and that super amazing! With that being said, I also want you to put yourself first and if tracking the Calories ever becomes mentally taxing/damaging to you personally then I 120% would want you to put you first💗 I love you regular “What I eat” content just as much as the tracked versions. Just do what is most healthy for you💘💘

Thank you so much for your videos. It was my birthday today and I had an actual normal slice of cake for the first time in so long. But I felt so so guilty and I hate that because it’s literally my birthday and I shouldn’t feel bad about celebrating but I just do. Watching your videos helps me so much and keeps me going in recovery. I honestly can’t thank you enough.

I think that some people who struggle with an eating disorder don't really know the calories to a lot of food. So it's the amount that scares us, not the calories always. So I don't think it matters if you show them or not (although some people might get triggered, personally I don't have an issue with it). Thanks for doing what you're doing, lots of love ❤️

i still suffer from an eating disorder and recently i tried the PB&J combination and like tbh i did feel a bit guilty after eating it but i enjoyed it very much and i might eat it again. and as for showing the calories or not, i personally am fine with both bc like when you show them and i see how the calories don't stay the same i get like happy and think that someday i'm gonna be fine with whatever i eat and not feel guilty and get happy for you for having recovered!! thank you so much for your videos, i truly love them

Hi Diana!! I would say maybe switch off of both. I’ve been thinking about doing something similar because there’s always going to be a division. So if you switch off, those who don’t feel comfortable don’t have to watch the ones you do count ORRRR you can say that it’s in the description to those who are interested but again it’s also all up to you. I don’t know how tracking is on YOUR mental health and I want the best for you ❤️❤️

good sandwich is raisin bread ( I used Dave's raisin bread) with fresh sliced strawberry and almond butter with a glass of oat milk. I recommend dipping it in the milk.

I like seeing the calories. It helps me see what healthy eating looks like and that calories aren’t bad. I grew up believing that if I wanted to be healthy then I couldn’t go one calorie over 1,200 and that’s just not true, but I also have difficulty seeing what a healthy person eats and how much it amounts to. Just helps me get an idea of portion sizes

I just tried peanut butter today, for the first time in my life (I'm Spanish, and it's not a common food here), and I was thinking about trying it with oatmeal, apples, cinnamon... On the calorie count I feel like some people like it but in my opinion this is totally up to you! I wouldn't show the calories because some people in recovery will compare there intake. But either way I love your videos! ❤🍓

I'd like to see the calories sometimes because I'm curious but if a lot of people don't want to see them, I think we can live without lol if people on Instagram still want to see the calories, maybe you can put them at the end of the video (for just a few seconds) with a desclaimer for the viewers who may be triggered. Love your videos! I'm not bothered whether you show calories or not, I just love getting inspiration for meals and snacks! Maybe just write the calories in the description box with a TW for those that need one? So the video won't show calories for those that don't want to see them, but for those that want to know, they can see the calories/macros in the description box?
