Hello Yasuko! Such a pretty family! Be careful to feed your small son with green bell pepper. Its actually unripe pepper and is quite hard to digest. Replace with a red, yellow or orange one.

I've recently subscribed to your channel and really appreciate the recipes. I love how simple and delicious the food you make is. Thank you for sharing. Your little boy is so cute. For the peppers situation, maybe you could try the little tiny sweet peppers that you can find at the supermarket? Kids I know who don't like peppers still devoured those ones 😂.

Thank you very much 🥰 Hmm I haven't tried the small sweet peppers, maybe I'll give that a go. Hopefully it works!

He is growing so well! We just found out we are having a boy as well, and I hope our son will grow as happily as he is. I also like buying the imperfect vegetables! It's really cost-saving, especially with how expensive groceries are in Canada these days.. The stuffed peppers look so delicious, and I can probably eat those. I like basa fish too, but my stomach still can't handle white fish ^^;; My friend's kid also didn't like peppers, but she would roast it first and mince it finely to add to meatballs/hamburg steak and he couldn't taste it. Maybe that may work? Thank you for always sharing your videos! I'm sorry I haven't been able to watch until now, but I will do my best to watch the other videos to support you~ ^^ Hope you and your family are doing well~

Wow you are having a boy too😆 that's great. Hopefully you're morning sickness is getting better too. Yes, imperfect vegetables are really cost-saving! I don't see them all the time, but I'd prefer to always buy them if they are cheap. Yeah, like you said I think I need to mince and hide peppers. This picky eating time might last long 😂 No problem, I always really appreciate your support!🥰

I love your content so much! Thank you for uploading these videos. :) I was also wondering where you get your dashi? And also perhaps what brand it is? I haven't had any luck finding any!
@whatsfordinner_japanese7 ай бұрын
Thank you 😊 I buy dashi stock from Asian supermarket near my house. I usually buy Shimaya or Hon Dashi.

What do you do with the leftover oil after deep frying? Your recipes are so good, will definitely try them out
@whatsfordinner_japanese7 ай бұрын
Thank you so much 😊 I don't use much oil, so I just wipe it off with a paper towel.

I am moving to Canada the prices are so low compared to Australia. Broccoli here is $5.90 a kilo
@whatsfordinner_japanese7 ай бұрын
That's so expensive 😱 It depends on supermarkets, but broccoli crown is about $2 ~ $4 here. Hope you have fun in Canada 🇨🇦

When you buy meats, does it say on the label 'No antibiotics ever' or something to that effect? Here we have to watch out for that.
