What I found inside the 2021 Specialized S-Works Aethos Frame

I bought the non-S Works frameset in Satin Carbon/Silver Flake finish, size 52. The frame weighs 711 gm and the fork weighs exactly 300 gm. Saved $2200 :) It's an awesome bike to ride! No reason to buy the S-Works version of this bike.

I have the same frame in 56 CM, kind of surprised without paint that it weighs that much in 52, that said, still stupid light!

My thoughts are that this will have lots of problems with too small of tubes in the chain stays near the rear. That looks like it's about just a bit larger than a pencil. I wouldn't want one for a couple more years

Never owned full carbon bike. Alloy or lightweight alloy for me maybe one day I’ll upgrade to full carbon bike.

Quality wise far so good. IMO it would be worth checking out a more established brand as the geometery on the bike is a little wonky. I will likely change up the bike a bit this year to see if I can cure that. For the Trifox money you could get a established brand alloy frame and that might just be the better choice.
