I feel the exact same way as you about Christmas and the magic of seeing them open their presents. I do all of the same things that you do. Shop all year long, find great deals and store them away. I pull everything out and decide what I want to give him for Christmas and what I want to hold back for another holiday or birthday.

I do my very best to give my little one as much as I can. I have two adult children a 6 year old and I’m a grandma of two. I start shopping in July put things away, when Christmas comes the gifts seem excessive but it’s what I love to do for my children. I do the same.. my son is now grown - he's 21.. but i still spoil him because he still lives at home.. my daughter has a daughter, so i only buy for my granddaughter.. she's fine with that ... I love watching my kids open presents Christmas morning.. theres nothing better.. i buy smaller presents, but try to get him a bit of everythibg he likes. I really enjoy shopping throughout the year. His birthday is end of October.. so its close to Christmas.

My mom was a year round shopper too since she was a single mom and we were poor. We had so many gifts every year. It amazed my sister in law when she started dating my bro since we carried on year round shopping traditions. Now my mom has passed away and I still shop year round to the point I'm in a room of stuff wrapping gifts

I loved your video. I'm with you on our children being children for only so long. And the magic of Christmas with them being so little excited to open presents is such a precious time. I only have one child a little girl who is 5 this year and I have went what many others would call overboard. I don't see it that way. I see it as giving my only baby a Christmas to remember. You are right kids grow up so fast then they don't want toys anymore. My daughter is 15 so long past toys. I use to buy her lots of nice toys and I would get comments on how much I bought. But I never regretted it and my daughter looks back with fond memories. Love everything you bought. Your kids will be very happy 😊 x

I finished my Christmas shopping for my three nieces and nephew back in October. I also finished buying for my in laws around that same time frame. I just need to maybe buy something for my dad and I am contemplating buying a sister gift for my two sisters and I. I will hopefully have more Christmas shopping to do soon. I am waiting to receive my first foster kid placement! My husband and I just got licensed as foster parents in our state.

Im with you on making each Christmas special. I loved the magic of Christmas and was lucky that my son believed until he was 12yo. Hi! I’m am in a similar situation as you! Homeschool/stay at home Mom/one income family. My love language is gifts as well and I love to spoil my kids at Christmas/holidays/bdays but especially at Christmas. It can be tricky when you are watching your budget closely but I have bins and when I can sneak a toy or two into the budget or find a really good sale I grab things and then before I know it I have this huge stash to pull from at various times! You do what you want to do. When it comes to growing out of the joy of watching your kids open Christmas gifts and the magic and wonder they have, I sort if agree and disagree. I have 3 adult kids. One (my oldest) still has that joy, wonder, and Christmas magic with them. One (my middle child) has outgrown it, and one (my youngest) is kinda in the middle. I’m like you, I spend time getting toys on sale all year long. I’m a single mom and I want my child to have something special for Christmas. I may do a video like this too. My daughter’s birthday is also a week before Christmas. How do you do the toy haul for a child with a bday so close to Christmas? My Lizzy will be 3 this year and I had to split my toy hauls to what she’d get for Birthday and for Christmas. The last Of what I got her is coming this week and I have to sort it. This is the year she knows what a Christmas and what a birthday is. Is it hard to have to buy for a child with a bday so close to Christmas? Any tips on this?

Thanks so much for watching! Yes it is hard with her birthday being the week before. Because I want to get her the same amount for her birthday as I get the other two. So she just gets tons of stuff 🤣 I will film a birthday haul video but I usually don’t post it until after Christmas. As far as tips, I just say it’s okay to still spoil them separately for their birthday. I never want her to feel like we didn’t make her birthday a big deal like the other two just because it’s near Christmas.

Hey loved you video. I have 6 children and also love to spoil them on birthday and Christmas and total agree there is nothing better then seeing their faces when opening their gifts. My favourite part. My eldest is 13 and now into Xbox or stuff for phone not into toys which is sad, I noticed with the hot wheels for your son it looks like the car on top is missing. Target!! They always have some type of clearance. I know where they put clearance in my store and I check every week. I might only find one thing a week but it adds up if you do that all year. Good luck! Walmart has good clearance sometimes too

I go to target everyday literally I don’t know if it location or if I’m not looking in the right spaces but I realized that I should just wait cause a lot of these things I brought now 13 dollars . I am living for this channel I will subscribe I thought about starting Christmas shopping in January because I have 4 kids and there birthday are in July and august and dec and January this inspired me to not pay pull price but to actually look for deals I’m not use to that but I need to learn
