What I Have Learned So Far Trying To Upload Everyday

Learning a little. Still a lot to learn.
Just an update video today. Good news is, my laptop is back! Took me 6 minutes to render this video. With my old laptop a 60 sec video was atleast 30 minutes. Crazy.

I know that KZbin likes consistency, whether you upload once a week, twice a week, five times a week, or once a day. I do not follow any analytics, and post whenever I feel like recording and editing. I ride more than I record, and edit even less, but I will become more consistent once I start getting my head on straight. Take care, ride safe.

Shorts are a weird beast. YT will push them for like an hour, and if they do well - they push further. Otherwise, they linger. As for turning your camera sideways to get the vertical aspect ratio, that'll do it - or zooming in until it fills most of the 1080x1920 for an HD short. FWIW, I use a "blanking fill" effect in Davinci Resolve to fill in past where I don't want to zoom any more, if that makes sense. Good luck!

All over the place with shorts. Yesterday's hit 200 quick and then stopped. Today's crept to 20 and has stopped. Same tags. Different title. Key word in the title maybe? We'll try again tomorrow. Haha

@@NVARider Trying is all you can do, so keep at it! Key words in the title should/will make a big difference, IMO. Thumbnail has a lot to do with it, too.

I think everyday is to much. the channels I've seen do it start off ok, then kinda trial off I think 3 times a week at most is good enough.

I feel like the algorithm is just whack as hell when it comes to everything, when I uploaded consistently I saw the same numbers as this year when I uploaded like 6 or so times in the entire year 🤷
