Recently, I've said bye to my early 20's (*internally freaking out*). I guess I'm not afraid to say that I'm super proud of my growth in the past couple of years. I learned to master confidence, focus on what matters, what TRUE friends are, and how to STOP HESITATING. This is a lot of good friends. I find that it gets harder as one gets older due to people moving away for better opportunities, having changing life priorities, and meeting certain life milestones and having more life obligations makes meet ups harder and more rare. Cherish what we currently have. It is difficult to get 200k salary in Vancouver beyond career that have much as minimum (e.g. medicine). In general, friends with similar abilities in US earning $300k USD a year (normal white collar career projection in a good company) were getting $120-140k CAD a year in Canada (with Canadian equivalent company). Having dreams and working towards it provides a guidance as time passes quickly and 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years and even 20 years can soon pass in the blink of an eye.
