What I Love and Hate About The Maserati Ghibli

At 21:57 lol.. how many folks missed that? Anyway. I don't like rims over 18" I think it makes the car ride bad, the tires are louder and also they seem harder to balance as well.

Thank you for this review! I think I have looked at all Ghibli reviews there are on KZbin, over the past three years. I really enjoyed this one. So personal and frank. Next week I get delivery of a 2018 Ghibli SQ4 GranSport. I hope it has the toothpaste holder... That is truly an awesome feature :)

@@hocineted7594 Well, "Q4" means four wheel drive. It's a rear wheel biased system, meaning that most of the time the car is rear wheel drive. Torque is moved to the front wheels immediately when needed. It is an excellent system, also here in Sweden with snow and ice. GranSport is styling, both internal (seats, steering wheel,..) and external (front, sides, ..). Nerissimo means blacked/darkened external details, like exhausts and badges. If you ask me :), SQ4 GranSport is "the best". I personally like the chrome exhausts. But I do have the badges in gloss black.

I’m looking at getting one of these. I’m a mopar guy hardcore but these have always caught my eye. I have a 14 ram and love the interior so it makes me happy it’s similar interior. Couple questions for you. 1. What year is your car? 2. Does it have wireless charging? 3. Have you had a lot of issues with it? I only see information about people bashing these saying they are junk but more I look into it the more I realize they are upset they are getting Chrysler interior. Little do a lot of people know lambo rocks jetta interior lol so there’s that. I’m more curious about reliability and cost of maintenance.

i dont like anything but the name and engine. But for the price they are a great deal. you can find them with 50k miles for like 20k. a bargain for a maserati and the maintenance can be spendy but they are easy to work on. I have a 2015 sq4 and bought a manual fluid extractor for oil changes. Dont even have to get under the car to the drain plug. Change the oil alot more now than recommended once a year

So far, not really. I did have to have a vent fixed for $300. The oil changes are also more expensive at about $300 but it’s the cost of ownership I suppose

I would much rather have an 09 to 2012 quattroporte s that rides like a luxury car not an over glorified g37 competitor. The interior and sound are also far superior to this 90k and in 3 years 30k cookie cutter car

I have been looking for a quattroporte in those years too. They were some of my favorites especially when they got the standard transmission. Harry’s Garage did a video of his and I thought his was absolutely perfect!

Wouldn't recommend going with 20in rims. Those 18s are perfect for this car. Much better ride quality with more cushion. The bigger the rim the worse the ride, also much more blowouts and dents.
