I was pre-covid and when I went through, it all depends on your MTI. Both my MTIs in both my flights gave us time to do our make up for the pictures and the graduation day.

@@tinseltownchick I would bring a small duffle bag. But a backpack would work as well. It doesn't really matter. You just don't want to be taking a huge amount of stuff to tech school.

I’d say duffel bag because when you ship to your tech school, you’ll have to carry the issued backpack on your chest then the issued duffel back on you back then you hold your civilian luggage with you free hands. You’re only allowed to have 3 bags when you go to tech school.
