Hi, I'm Amanda (friends & family call me Mandy) I actually found you through other creators mentions (so glad I did) & I originally watched a couple of your newer videos to find that we have so much in common. I am a mom of 4 (3 are my own and 1 is my bonus child) I am a Personal Support Worker here in Canada, however I have been off work since Feb of this year due to personal health stuff & my spouses health has sent us for a huge scare. ANYWAY, I had to let you know that, you have inspired me to just do the dang thing with youtube! I have been talking and thinking about it for a long time, however due to time and just all of the things it hasn't really gone further than thinking and talking. I am a crocheter myself (since I was around 9 yrs old) I have always made afghans, blankets, kitchen towels, hats, scarves, etc have found another love for creating plushies too. I also do many other crafts and DIY's, I dabble a bit with knitting (mostly kitchen towels). So, I have to say it again watching your channel has inspired me to just stop thinking and talking about it and just do it already! I am wishing you all the best with your channel, I look forward to all that is to come & cheers (well with my coffee) to making friendship connections! 🧶🪡Mandy 🪡🧶

Hi Quinn (did I spell your name correctly?). I’ve wanted to learn to crochet for decades and I finally learned two weeks ago. My niece, Kyla, joined a crochet club at school and we are now learning together. Right now I am making three row granny squares for an afghan (lapghan). Eventually I would like to make kawaii dolls. I’ve also made a few washcloths. I do have my own very small business where I make handwoven beaded jewelry ( not crochet and not on a loom). I only sell at craft shows. I am very excited to find your channel at the beginning and I look forward to watching your channel grow.

Hi! Yes you did spell my name right 🥰 that is so awesome you are learning with your niece. It must be so nice to have a family member interested in the same crafts as you. I hope your lapghan is coming along nicely 😄 and I wish you all the luck in the world on your small business!

Hey x my little one is the same age as yours she’s 20 months and I’m trying to run my own crochet business too. It’s so difficult finding the time to spend on my crochet and watching you reminds me it’s possible. (May have binged all your vids today 😂❤)

I’m so happy I came across your video ☺️ Haha the “I shrimply adore you” idea is so cute 😂 You did such a good job on the bumble nums toys! They look great! The last time I crocheted was when I was in high school over 10 years ago, and I am getting back into it so I can make toys for my kids too ☺️ I love what you said about wanting to make toys for kids 🥺 I feel the same. Also it looks like your plan to impress your bf with Star Wars toys worked! 😂 I am wishing you all the success in your small business ❤️ And in your KZbin channel too :) I’m looking forward to more videos from you!

Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ it’s exciting you’re getting back into crocheting, it’s so rewarding and soon you’ll be making tons of toys for your kids! Now every time my daughter wants something I think “can I make this?” Before I buy it 😂

hi! Just recently found your channel and this first video. I'm Lizzie and I've been crocheting for nearly four years. I'm indebted to a public library take-home crochet kit that gave me everything I needed to get started and then the many hundreds of KZbin tutorials I have followed since. I began selling my work for the first time this last fall, which felt like a huge step towards creating an art business I have always dreamed of running. I also do other crafts --it seems I never stop learning. I document my work on my YT channel too :) I love the idea of adding the felt behind safety eyes for extra security!
@CatCakeCrochet11 ай бұрын
Hi Lizzie! That is so awesome and inspiring that you were able to take that step to make your dream come true! I have not had any eyes pop off of any of my daughter’s toys yet 🤞 I think the felt really helps keep the glue on the back of the safety eyes.

Hi, also a stay at home mom here. I have a 4yr old autistic son who is in speech therapy. I just started my own small crochet business too and have been looking for channels I can grow with as well. Everyone else seems so established and although it's inspiring it's always super intimidating. p.s love your hair.

Aww thank you so much! You must love making things for your son 💕I was in speech therapy classes when I was little too! I still can’t say “rural” 😂 That is so awesome you’re getting started too, do you have an insta I can follow? Let’s grow together!
