i think it’s bc some ppl choose to believe that there is a logical/scientific explanation for what they have experienced. this makes sense to me because there are still *many* things that science is unable to explain as of right now, but may become possible in the future. like for example they have conclusively figured out that souls have an actual weight & energetic release

I use to be a home health cna and I use to take care of this particular family. Their daughter spirit was very much alive in this house but they were such in denial and made excuses for stuff happening out of nowhere. The recliner moving ,the closet door opening ( their excuse was that the door was old). The lamp turning on at midnight but the father still thinks I turned it on when i saw it with my own eyes the lamp light turning on by itself. I would hear footsteps in the hallway during the night while everyone is sleeping. All the family at the house didn't believe in spirits.

Not to mention I’m older now and think more carefully. There would only be like 2-3 experiences of many that I would share with anyone because otherwise there are too many variables

LOL! Story 2, I think. I was a river guide on the Salmon in Idaho. We slept in army tents in an area the was only accessible by a hand pulled cable car. The owners would take us into town once every 2 weeks for a proper shower. When they would come back to pick us up, we would be just as stinky, but our pockets would be filled with candy. The thing is, if you showered, you would no longer smell like nature. If you didn’t smell like nature, you smelled like food. Primarily to mosquitoes and horseflies. They left us alone as they apparently preferred the scent of Irish Spring & Dove aka our participants. You could tell who practiced proper hygiene by the 3rd day as they would continue to be the main course. - River Lore is strong. Death is a constant companion. Driving a chain of inexperienced rafters and kayakers around Larry’s Hole and other areas that have claimed lives is serious business. If we weren’t guiding, we would shadow each other in kayaks. Ready to go where you are not supposed to go to save a life. And we did it all the time. We could tell who pissed in their boat! Anyways, safety in numbers. You never know who, or what, is watching you. I also lived in a house that was beyond haunted. It was cursed and radiated evil. One of the reasons I became a river guide was to get away from that place. That’s a story for another time.
