Let’s be honest,this is not “Millennial money” but “KZbinr” money. Most millennials are once again experiencing the dire economic effects of a floundering economy while your are mostly making unnecessary purchases. You can spend money however you want but by advertising your video as millennial spending, you are perpetuating stereotypes of how millennials do not know how to budget, spend money, etc.
@ClaireCraig
@ClaireCraig 4 жыл бұрын
definitely agree with the first half of your comment. I think its true though that a lot of people (not just millennials) don't budget well and overspend, and she is a millennial even though she makes money from KZbin so it's still somewhat reflective

@@ClaireCraig Yeah but if boomers see this they will project this alone on the rest of us. I just think its unfair that all these KZbinrs have the power to promote positive responsible habits but don't bc it doesn't get view$ and its also alot easier to give in to temporary satisfaction, sigh

My issue is that I'm not spending multiple times a week because there's so little stuff that is open other than grocery stores and fast food but when I spend, I spend more than my usual amount. I went to a liquor store to have a small birthday party for one our roommates and I ended up spending $90 when outside of quarantine, I would've just spend under $30 had I not been in quarantine. I think it's because a) I didn't know when I could go to the liquor store again because quarantine and it's not essiential and b) I have had so much money because a lot of the things I was going to do (a volunteer trip to ghana but for covid reasons, got cancelled) so I have money saved from that in my acct. I'm putting it toward a car tho so it's all good

I’ve actually been saving a ton of money! Now that I’m not working I don’t want to spend anything I have in savings that isn’t a bill. It also helps that I’m not buying coffee daily. But when I do spend money it’s on the most random purchases. I literally bought a $4 bird house to paint in case I got bored. One month into quarantine and I haven’t painted it yet. 😂

Wow, that's a lot of money. I mean, I get the urge to online shop, but I feel like we all need to remember that when we order online we're making people have to work/deliver packages more and we're potentially putting more people at risk. We should really stick to only shopping for essentials, and maybe purchases to support small/local businesses that are in danger of going out of business. Otherwise we are still a part of the problem.

Sometimes brand payment checks get sent to my NC address where my parents are so it's easiest for them to cash those & keep the $ there to deduct all of my expenses from rather than me making a bunch of payments to them each month, and therefore those things didn't show up on my credit card statement I was looking at for this. I just love that you're keeping this going can't wait to see Month 2! I'm also redecorating, as it is the only thing that seems to bring me joy at them moment. Finally being home from college after 3 years... my room is like a storage unit for things I no longer need from the past.

I praise you for wanting to give back and help out. But I beg of you please look into world vision a lot closer. They are known for lining their own pockets, giving roughly 10% of your donation to the cause (if at all) and fabricating causes and even children you are donating to. They are no trust worthy and it’s awful. This consider donating to a local organization such a food bank, shelter or even a program. You money could be going so much further

The amount of people that are mad. It funny her rent is high and she didn’t need a almost 5,000 purchase. Let hope she keep it a long time probably not it’s her money. I would’ve love to spend 8,000 on myself 😫😫😟😖

I've actually been really proud of myself this month. I've done a few large grocery trips and I dropped 125$ on random stuff I needed on Amazon but besides that I've been saving a ton of money Working and hustling from home! My biggest expense was for registration for an online professional event I'm doing next month. I'm getting my stimulus check here in a few days and hoping to donate a portion to those in need. The rest of my savings is going to a down payment on a car that I will look to purchase when things start going back to normal here in a few weeks hopefully

My boyfriend and I combined don't even make 50% of what she can afford to spend in a month. So disheartening :( If you can afford it, you can afford it but these videos are so hard to watch. We have been saving for a year and a half to be able to put siding on our home that currently doesn't have any. Thankful to even have a job at all though rn...

Honestly I have actually been saving a lot of money since my main cost is transit to work and I’ve been working from home this entire time but I have been trying to resist online shopping for stuff since I’m not flipping going anywhere to use any of them 😂

The wine is different costs due to taxes. Each county, city, state, and even neighborhood has different taxes and you have to pay taxes based on where you are shipping to not where it is shipped from.

I have been online shopping so much that I wrote a list of the stores so I don’t lose track if the packages get lost in the mail. I am definitely going to stop now because I don’t need anything else and my spending has gotten out of hand

A lot of her purchases can be written off as business expenses if she films a video with them. I hope people especially the younger audience won't be influenced to spend out of their means and go into credit card debt.

How can someone sponsor or a child? Could you tell us please? I thinks it’s something more people should do and I would love to do it as well! I used to have a “god-child” every year in highschool were I would pay half of his year tuition!
