Funnily, the reason why the lemon syrup wasn’t great is probably because there wasn’t any of the peel left - the oil in the peel is the most lemon-y part.

Indeed, and the white pith on the "outside" of these lemons can add some bitterness, which naturally counteracts the remaining lemon flavor in the juice.

Yes! Finally a food vlog again🎉😊 You really are yourselfs biggest critic, but it's actually pretty relatable😂 All the other vegan YTubers I watch are always like "literally one of the best things I've ever made" and you're like "I thought it was going to be so good, but it wasn't that great"😂😭

try using rose water that you would get at an indian or middle eastern grocery store! it's so fragrant and doesn't have sugar so you can control the sweetness you like.. it's also fun to add it to cold sparkling water 🧚🏻‍♀️

i always keep brown rice in the house thinking i’ll use it and i never do. white rice is just easier and if im going to dedicate 45 mins to cooking a grain i’d rather have barley or lentils or something.

its just salt lol. its a set where the pepper says “mom is the” and the salt says “spice of life” i got it for her for mothers day when i was a literal child and she still uses them haha

I don't think their prices are inflated. It's a brand that commits to sustainability and safe work environments in their factories, that comes at a price.
