I tried those A-Sha noodles from Costco and I actually just used the noodles and made my own sauce because I found the sauce a bit too salty to my taste. I save the sauce packets and use them to make fried rice or in stir-fried vegetables. I make my own Vegan Toffee Brittle and Cacao Nibs are excellent in it☺️🌟💚

So happy to see a new video! A side note tho, sorry if you know this already, just a lil recommendation, I wouldn’t use high quality/unrefined olive oil for frying/anything high temp as it’s smoke point is pretty low in comparison to other vegetable oils and such. The problem with that is once it reaches smoke point the beneficial parts of olive oil degrade and can actually produce harmful compounds (obvs in small quantities but still). Refined olive oil has a higher smoke point though so it just depends on how refined yours is. Would recommend rapeseed or sunflower oil as affordable alternatives :)
@aine10272 жыл бұрын
Avocado oil has a high smoke point!
@amberkalejaiye91822 жыл бұрын
@@aine1027 yea that’s true! I just didn’t suggest because it can be expensive and avocados aren’t always the best in terms of environmental impact since the demand for them boomed in recent years :)

Those olive oils would be great for making a pesto! I love a good pesto pasta topped with fresh arugula, whatever (faux) breaded chicken, and topped with Parmesan. It’s one of my favorite meals recreated from a meal I used to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. They also top it with pancetta, but I never really miss it if I drizzle some of the extra pesto or some olive oil over top. I think you’d like this meal, and since you’re always giving me ideas for meals, I thought maybe I’d pass one back. As always I love your videos and thank you for some comforting content here on yt! 💚💚💚

Wheat is hight in protein, about 15% protein. Higher in protein than many "protein" snacks, bars, bowls ect... also higher in protein than many "protien components" in meals some meat dishes, some dairy cheeses (and almost all non dairy cheeses as they usually have the protien removed) most falafels and hummuses ect... Contrary to popular belief it does contain all the essential amino acids. All plant foods do. Ive been studying nutrition for years and looked at thousands of nutritional tables. Protien combining is a popular myth spread to sell more dairy products. I left a link to a reliable source explaining this myth but the comment was removed because this channel doesn't allow links in the comments section.
