I love his attitude in the videos.. He's not trying to pitch you a jet, or the money. That's all your problem before you come to him. Once you know what you want and what you can spend... Then you go to him. Don't waste his time expecting him to sell you on a jet. He's too busy selling jets. At least, that's the vibe I get. It's beyond confidence. It's crazy impressive

Just gotta say Steve, your channel is like a shining light at the end of the tunnel for me. Im in my final year of my financial management undergraduate degree and I want to run my own business in the next phase of my life. When I found your content I immediately binged on as many videos of you just cool calm calling out rookie errors and misunderstandings about jet business. Your attitude towards everything makes me feel like I can also make it one day if I just play it cool. I love the story of how you got into the jet world and I really love that you managed to wiggle your way out of a dangerous situation and the result of that was the beginning of your awesome career. I really hope you get to read this because you're like my number one role model at the moment. Please keep the amazing jet content coming 🍀💸

I have few question if you could be kind enough to answer: 1. To build a business as big and niche as yours, in the sense that it definitely involves having very powerful contacts/friends alongside your amazing talent and hardwork. I'm curious to know how you got such contacts to perform favours for you when it counted and what did you have to make such contcts in first place? 2. Any stories of your failures along the way or ny mistakes you did as a young man. And what impact they had on you?

I love this channel and aviation since I was 12 years old and knew from that moment it was going to be part of my life, since my familiy couldn't afford to support me to become a pilot instead I became a license mechanic B1.1, I love my job working on aircraft, never get tired of the smell of jet fuel and the sound of the engines. I recently disovered this channel and I'm hooked, it is really awesome. I haven't worked on private jets yet only on airline model such as MD80, B737, A320, B717, B767 and BAE ATP.

Steve, this is an absolutely excellent overview of building a unique business in corporate aviation. So many of your comments I hear as an echo of things I've repeated so many times before in developing new concepts in this business area. From a fellow corporate jet sales professional I can wholeheartedly recommend this video as it provides some amazing nuggets of wisdom and insight. In fact, I'm rather staggered how completely I agree with all the things you say here as they align with my experience exactly as well.

I so appreciate your posts. You share so much that I attempt to emulate in the auto business. Your positive attitude, knowledge & preparation, allow you to present a confidence which brings value to every conversation. Customers can really understand quickly that they can trust you with a huge purchase, that you'll be there for them through the completion of the sale. As we both learned a long time ago, as you build lifelong friendships with people, client acquisition and referrals are less about sales & more about others entrusting you with the responsibility to execute successfully. In a word, Integrity.

Wonderful video and great advice, but two notes: 1: when you say that if someone has an idea, and they get onto the internet and see if someone else has that idea - it's NOT a bad thing if someone else had that idea first! Many people think it is bad and will abandon it if they arent first, but more often it is a good thing if there are other people who thought of it, are trying it, and are successful enough with it that they are findable for someone else (like you) who looks for it. 2: I would say that the modern age makes a lot of new things more possible, but doesnt make them easier. The fact that more people can get online and try means there is also more competition, and sometimes a worse signal-to-noise ratio (a lot of spam and clickbait, which can bury the legitimate things). This can make it much harder to get noticed, especially for real business-builders who excel on the technical aspects but not on the publicity aspects. The best way for a technical person to handle this is to team up with a business/publicity person (who can show a track record with legitimate businesses). This person is called a "co-founder". Good luck out there!

I love my free time and my lazy work and I rather have a simple life with lots of time where I can do whatever I want than having to put in all nighters over and over, it does not make me happy. So basically it's okay to not to start a business and take the easy road and have a fulfilling life. Even without a private jet.
