What I've missed from MANOR LORDS Early Access

Being predominantly a Miniature Wargamer for the past 15 Years and wargaming exclusively the HYW era i look at video games thought a different perspective. I try to play games as they should be played like a Medieval Lord and not like an arcade game that i use tips and tricks to add more resources or build a huge army in one month.
Manor Lords is an amazing game that i enjoy playing even in this early stage and Obviously the game will change and improve add things during the remaining development process but i missed three things even from this early access stage that i am explaining in the video

It is very interesting to hear your perspective as a miniature wargamer on this game. You make some excellent points. The 3 other channels I watch for this game approach it from differing perspectives, one is a Total War gamer, another is a city builder and farming simulator gamer, and the other is a history channel who likes to try a lot of different strategy games. You raise points that I have not heard them discuss yet. Thanks Nic, I look forward to more.

Thank you dear Jack! Well we have the wargamers approach historical accuracy goes hand in hand with my hobby. The big gaming channels are following an arcade point of view how you ill win the game how you will cheat the game but these games are to be played and enjoyed like you are an actual minor Noble of the period. It confused me greatly when I took my first land and realized my town's wealth was completely separate and I'd have to start all over again. Why?! I thought the whole point in doing it was to claim resources and expand your already existing town. Instead my first town became an after thought as I built up this completely new one from the ground up with five families that just magically appeared from nowhere. I completely agree with you, it needs some more thought put into it.

Exactly my friend totally agree with your comment! It makes no sense and it is very inaccurate historically i was very surprised when i played the game for the first time and realized this is the case. Hopefully they can fix this. Regional wealth vs the Lord's wealth. It makes sense that a sensible lord wouldn't take the regional wealth (think like a town Treasury) to use for another town.

Walls. We need walls. I mean at least palaside so we can protect our city. It should be expensice but possible to build. Secondly. Map should be at least 4times bigger then it is now. And at least 4 more lords with castells and towns on that map. + a king or invader so there is chalange and even alience to defend from that invader.

Very good points my friend! I would say walls for part of the city not all the perimeter of a Medieval city was walled but yes you make a good point! Yes Bugger maps i can imagine they will provide and i will also like Historical maps like provinces for example not countries obviously because we are talking about Manor Lords but provinces would be great. For sure more Lords and a King who will oversee everything and would interfere with some elite units if required.. not a whole army because we are probably a spec in his empire but with some elite troops. I would also like some type of spy Scout units but i don't know how this will work.
