@@spacecowboy740 I liked how surreal it was, the visuals were very unnerving and unsettling. The OP was disturbing and really fit well too. Initially, I was disappointed that it didn't follow a coherent mystery plot-line but as I continued watching it I realized that it was really trying to portray the mental condition of anxiety - which I think it succeeded in doing. I think the highlight for me was the twist ending of what Maromi really was.

Criticism for Ruhmbrub (or however you pronounce it) Very good. I feel like you made a setting that I knew thoroughly by the end. Performances were very well done and the editing was also fantastic. I like how the editing is slow and calm, like what’s happening to the characters on screen. Also the directing was very felt like it was always trying to do something new, whether it be a new idea or a new setting (like the LEGO movie.) Also very well paced. 9/10. Cant wait to see what you do next. -JamesReviews Edit: also karsten in the 0.1% chance that your reading this just wanted to say thank you for introducing me to film critics stuff. I now want to direct and script movies because of you. (Also you’re my favorite you tuber) have a great day

The Kubrick comparison for Belly is actually quite ironic considering the fact that the cinematographer, Malik Sayeed also worked on Eyes Wide Shut

I've been stuck in self-quarantine for a week now and I've been using ghibli films as a way to cope. pretty sure i've seen both the original japanese and the english dub of Howl's Moving Castle more than 10 times each

Hey man, just watched your short film. The color palettes and cinematography in each frame blended together really well. My only problem with it is that it feels like it was a begining of a longer story. It felt like 2 sequences edited together. Things happened in a random way instead of a cause-effect manor, which would be fine if you'd developed each context a little bit better. The performances were good and props for the kids acting, it's hard to get good performances from children. Your work looks promising and I'm eager too watch more of your work! Love your KZbin videos too.

Do you know what would be really cool for these types of videos? If you put a list of them into description: either just the names, or IMDB links, or maybe like a post on Letterboxd, os similar. Just saying :) and thank you for the video :)
