I watched an anime movie series this month called The Garden of Sinners and I really enjoyed it. I expected a supernatural action series and got something more akin to an art film. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to watch an animated film series that tries to have a deeper meaning. I'm rewatching it again to have a better understanding of it and I'm still enjoying it.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space is always a good movie in my opinion. The Chiodo brothers intended on jabbing at the cheesy movies they worked with effect art on, they intended a comedic cheesy horror movie and it works so well! I get that it's not some sort of Groundhog day or any other Classic comedy but it's pretty brilliant how well it holds up for what it is

Prob a common recommendation, but since you mentioned getting into anime, I can't recommend Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood enough. It was the show that really got me into anime, and it's one of my top 5 pieces of film media in general. It's a bit dense and the last 10 episodes or so are a crazy chaotic blur of fight stuff and major plot events, but in terms of raw emotional impact, very little has touched me more. It's an absolute masterclass in character growth, watching these two brothers put in this existentially terrifying situation grow up and evolve together and come out these rich, detailed, fleshed out people so believable that I legitimately felt connected to them as individuals by the end- sappy as it may sound. No other thing I've experienced has better used its characters or setting, and it's amazing how gelled it is considering the tonal disparity that can arise from the very humorous and energetic characters interacting within what's essentially a facsimile of "society if the nazis won". I know that's a lot of vague description, but it's such a powerful series that I think it's best to go in mostly blind. Anyways, great video as per usual! Edit: Forgot to say, I totally agree with you about Fantastic Mr. Fox, it's up there in my top 5 too, probably tied with Young Frankenstein as my favorite movie!

-Paranoia Agent: Neat thriller and I loved the climax. I love how Satoshi Kon can be such a scary or gripping director while ending on some of the most hopeful notes I've seen. -Over The Garden Wall: Didn't think much of it the first time, but now I lived it so much. There's so much that I have only noticed the second time around. -I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream Audiobook by Harlan Ellison: Not something I "watched" but still wanted to promote it. So damn bleak but some came out with a hopeful interpretation. Not me though, but I love it so so much. -Perfect Blue: Another Satoshi Kon movie. It's incredible how many layers there are to this film. So many little details that change the way you view it. And again, it's such a genuinely terrifying film yet it ends on such a hopeful note without it being jarring. -The Gregory Horror Show Vol. 1 and 2: Not sure if this is just fun horror or if it's supposed to have a deeper meaning since I haven't watched the other 2 volumes yet, but it was quite lovely nonetheless. -Devilman Crybaby: Ouch, I loved this one! So yeah, I think that's about it. Hopefully I'll watch more stuff this month, idk.
