Hi Mary, my name is Debby from Wisconsin. I'm one of your subscribers and a big fan of your channel. Back in 2009 I started a KZbin channel when KZbin was just picking up. I only stayed with it for a year. Now I wish I would have kept going...😢 My hobby is sewing, and I'm a seamstress. I've been thinking many times in starting a channel again, but I know the amount of dedication and work it is. I also love to make bread... which is where you come in. 😊 I'm 65 now and retired, but it would be nice to make some money on the sude working from home. Hi Mary, thank you for doing a video like this. I've been dabbling in the thought of making a KZbin channel, but I'm just not sure yet. My hubby and i are retired and on set budget. So i know you talked about using a i phone for your videos, but i have an android . Would that work? I can't afford a camera right now. You were the first person that i subscribed to when i was getting into sourdough. You help me to understand it all and it not be complicated. Mary, is there a way to enjoy your blog without all the pop-ups? I’m on a tablet and it drives me nuts. I can’t look at any of the stories, without a flock of them opening. I did sign up to join, but didn’t opt-in to the marketing e-mails. If I did this could I just enjoy looking at the wonderful photos and recipes? I love your videos, and love looking at the photos as well. I want to become a content creator!😢

I'm sorry about that, this is actually because I am changing providers for the forms. It should get lined out in a few days. I am making changes to when they pop up and making sure they don't pop up every time the same person signs on. The opt in is just for a monthly newsletter that has my latest recipes in it. I don't THINK there were any commercials when I watched this video. Did you have to set things up in a certain way to keep all those annoying commercials off? Some channels seem to get another commercial every 3-10 minutes and it drives me NUTS...!

You have come a long way. I'm not interested in the how to on having a utube . I just like watching anything you put out. I always learn something. What happens when the chickens aren't in season. Do you butcher them ? And then buy new ones when they are in season?

We do. We rotate our chickens every few years. The older girls and roosters that we hatch will be for the freezer and the younger ones take over the laying. This keeps us in a constant supply of eggs and meat.

Hoo Boy! it sounds to me like you gained a lot of experience with video capture equipment. Also, looks like you spent a lot of money in the process too. I love your videos and comments. I started subscribing to your fine channel about 4 months ago. As to spending / investing ... the general rule I follow is: Cry once, (get the better stuff, and make sure it is appropriate for you). or Cry many times later, (get cheaper stuff, then find out that it does not do what you want, and get on that expensive upgrade path).

I thought you would probably look at your comments sooner on here, so my question is can I substitute the whey that I get from making my own goat yogurt for the cup of water that the recipe calls, for I am making the walnut raisin bread? Thank you for all your great videos. I’ve made the walnut raisin bread with water, and it was a hit! And I also made your same day sourdough sandwich, loaf with the everything seasoning on top. Oh boy.😁❤️ delicious thank you thank you thank you.!!!
