I got engaged Christmas Eve and a couple days later at lunch we discussed budget... then last night I had him sit down and help me with his side of the family for guest list. It’s small but I think he enjoys listening to me get excited too. We have also been planning our wedding since we first started dating 3 years ago 😂. And I don’t even plan to get married till 2021.. but we’re on a budget with having a 10 month old son so the more time the merrier!

We are taking our time in the process because I want to enjoy it and just enjoy each other. We got engaged in December and decided to do a long engagement (almost 2 years) so that we could spend the first 6 months just enjoying being engaged and then start the planning process! Which excitingly is where we are now 🤗

In the process of planning my wedding for next year and I'm so happy I came across your videos! One thing I've found to be tough is how to set a budget .. I had no idea how expensive each vendor was! I have a ballpark number and have been reaching out to get ideas from different vendors to help with that. Also, have you ever helped a bride with a wedding where she didn't hire a formal catering crew? My fiancé used to work in restaurants and we were thinking of using food trucks instead of a caterer and were considering hiring a few of his old coworkers to be our servers as a way to save money. Wondering if this will make us more stressed!

Hey girl! Be sure to check out my budget video, there's a free worksheet in there that walks you through your entire budget! I think the food trucks and servers would be great! I would highly recommend a day-of coordinator, so they can kind of manage everyone. Hope this helps!
