I always love a pleated skirt outfit, I wear them a lot, too. And any kind of collar, a turtleneck or my favorite classic shirt collar, brings the focus to the face.

Hi Celia! I too try to stay away from wearing too much black - and am making a concerted effort to buy less of it - but sometimes it just feels right, especially when you’re trying new silhouettes or layering a lot of pieces. Ps.: how lovely your friend is to give you that Rancé soap!

@@MarianaZelenjuk I did make it and it turned out well - delicious! Even my husband and son enjoyed it! I used the bacon as the printed recipe called for rather than veal. I then followed what you did step by step. Looking forward to leftovers tonight! I will freeze any that is left:)

Another great video, Mariana! Lovely outfits. True, it is harder to look pulled together when it is cold and it rains or snows. Here in the north we look like the abominable snowman, Yeti. Or if you prefer, many of us resemble the Michelin man. A puffer coat it is...Italian puffers are usually less bulky, so I favor them. Knitted hoodies are great in winter, around the house or at sports. At work jackets or blazers are great with sweaters (v-necks usually) and I often purchase a pashmina of the same color. It is easy to layer and to take off. It is cold outside, but the houses are well built and warm, so you don´t need that much clothing inside. These sweater pashmina combinations I buy at the Eric Bompard sale. They look nice with jeans, trousers or skirts. And they give a pop of color, which is greatly needed, the days are so short. Milan is, of course, less cold and it doesn´t get so dark, but the houses can be drafty. I wish you a nice and week at home and work, you´ll be impeccable as always. 🐩🌡☃

Oh, I’m so happy for your new poncho and clip on earrings! You’ll wear them to death! As to the powder, I apply it with the puff on clean skin and blend it in… makes me feel like a movie star 🤩

I love the scarf outfit, I’ve been wearing mine a lot, too. Even nice cashmere irritates my neck, they’re great for preventing that, but I just love them for styling outfits, too. I love the geometric pattern and neutral colors in yours. I forgot about Benneton, I’m going to revisit them now. I’m always looking for comfy trousers in the light colors I love, I don’t wear jeans, or black very much and about 90% of pants offered only come in black. I envy UK shoppers, their stores always have white, cream, taupe, tan, etc. and our only US options, for the same item and brand, rarely have any of these colors. I did just get a nice pair of taupe ones, with split-hem flares, from Target, of all places.

Scarf outfitS I should say, love the knit dress with scarf outfit, too. Scarves give instant polish, femininity, style, and color and they highlight the face, too (worn at neck). Knit dresses are my favorite thing to wear everyday, they’re much more comfy than even joggers or sweatpants, no cinching at the waist or riding up (a problem for us who need a higher rise), and cozy. Your beige one is gorgeous, &Other Stories always has great items.

The powder looks great, is it a floral fragrance? I like to powder my feet with scented powder when wearing winter boots, especially non-leather ones, which I have a few styles of, because couldn’t find what I wanted in leather. I would hate to get stinky feet, or worse, athlete’s foot. Even with leather boots, they usually put horrible, non-breathable, synthetic-fiber linings. Boot selection in non-black styles are limited, it’s hard to find everything I want in a pair. My favorites-ever were a pair of Italian suede ones, they were lined in buttery soft leather. They would be expensive today and when I bought them maybe 40 years ago, they were very expensive, but so worth it.
