Spying one of the citizens using the skypassage would tell where they pop out immediately, maybe I dont know

No need to get rid of all the food in the base eniterly. Just make the gather rate lower so u at least have an disatvantage for camping in base.

As a casual player (~1100 in ranking), sometimes I like to play aggresive. But by how the game is now, it is almost impossible to rush anyone. Every game feels like a booming race and one fight in Heroic. If you lose that fight, the game is over and that was it. The starting base in legacy game was perfect. One patch of hunt + one patch of berries/chicken (with the mention that gathering these were much slower in comparison to hunt) + stronger towers (towers in Retold are a joke). And games felt much more versatile and fun. You can rush but you can also boom and protect your vills (via stronger towers and walls). Besides rushing has a big weakness. If it doesn't do enough damage in early game, you are left behind in eco and tech and you are at great disatvantage. That is why most players nowadays avoid rushing because most of the time you can't do enough damage because your opponent can stay in their base forever

@@homgminglee7146 TC is still strong and the defender is always at the advantage because they don't need to recruit as many units as the agressor. Rushing can work, but most of the time it is not worth the risk in the current setup

They should simply differentiate the maps, some with plenty of food in the base, some without
