If they made one, they would add a lot of characters. That's the main thing about LEGO games. They offer a lot of playable options, and it's fun to unlock. As much as I love the concept of a lego Ben 10 game, I can’t see it been made UNTIL we get the next iteration of Ben 10, and it likely will follow that iteration. After all, Lego games are supposed to be part of THE big thing that audiences are into. Look at every successful Lego game and most of them come out during the height of popularity (with a few exceptions). And Ben 10 simply isn’t “in” right now, so it doesn’t make financial success because the game will just bomb.

A few possible ideas. Snare-oh could possibly also use vent entrances, like Greymatter could. I think I'd also expand the roster. You get all of the original aliens through the game's story. But, like in most other lego games, you could unlock new characters by replaying the levels. You'd also have other dna tokens you could collect for aliens from other shows. Ex. the Alien Force playlist, or the Andromeda Five. Also since each of ben's transformations would functionally be their own character, I'd list them as separate characters in the free play character selection menu, which could allow for alternate versions of them. For instance, you'd have OS Fourarms, but also Ben 10K Fourarms. Kinda like how in DC Supervillains you've got say Poison Ivy, but also new 52 Poison Ivy.

I think there’s an opportunity to have Ben's post classic roster appear as free play unlockable you can get after collecting their DNA in side quests or hidden areas. It could be that you unlock future Ben's in the postgame and can gather these to transform them, or just have them in a character selection screen, either way I think this would work for fan service. Kinda imagine it like Lego the Incredibles which had other Pixar Legends as unlockable characters.

To add onto having Bens from different points in time, I think the game could go with the Lego Indiana Jones route were different movies corresponded to different playable storylines. I think it would be a neat visual effect too that when choosing an alien, like from the Lego Batman 3 suit selection wheel, the wheel would be designed to look like whichever Omnitrix the Ben from that timeline has, and would obviously have more than 8 possible options.

Glad someone finally made an in depth video about this topic. i along with a lot of people have been saying for years ben 10 would translate extremely well into a lego game, mainly due to the fact that there are so many aliens with many different abilities that can be used to get past certain obstacles the player will face. I also agree that classic ben 10 would be the way to go when making this hypothetical game as it would be nostalgic for people who grew up with the og show (like me), and introduce the original series to the newer generation who mostly have watched the reboot show. If you plan to do more ben 10 vids i will definitely watch them!

I think instead of making a LEGO game for each show, it’s much more likely that if they made it at all, it would cover all of the shows. It definitely wouldn’t cover every storyline, but think back to LEGO Avengers, which included levels for many different movies from the MCU. This would also help round out the character roster since LEGO games have TONS of playable characters

A Lego Ben 10 game is something Ive thought would work for a couple years now. That being said, if they were going to make one based on only the classic series, then most likely they would include all elements of the Classic series to make it work. So they probably would have stuff from Ben 10,000, Race Against Time, Secret of the Omnitrix, Destroy All Aliens, Protector of Earth (console and DS) , and maybe even the young Ben stuff from Omniverse. Lego games tend to be huge games and like to cover massive worlds/stories and havent been simple since Lego Batman 1 and Lego Star Wars TCS. And thats if they even go for the classic series. Tt could pitch a massive crossover game to help promote a new series with another reboot Ben and make it a passing of the torch story for old and new fans. Either way, this was a good video to stir up discussion. There was a youtuber (Knightwing01 I believe his name is) who made a video about a Lego Ben 10 game and he included art that a guy on instagram made with that concept and it looked amazing .

I don't know if you're still reading these comments, but the three aliens that you flashed at the screen could easily work along those that were actually laid out by allowing them to interact with certain items prince in different ways. For example, while gray matter could hack a computer terminal and upgrade could turn a terminal into some kind of bunker, Buzzshock xould just make the terminal short out, bus is might lead you to a different path then what you would have gotten if you use upgrade or graymatter. By having the similar aliens interact with the same elements but in a different manner, you can highlight each alien individually and help separate it which I think could work well in a Lego video game.

That's a very interesting concept, and a smart way of reusing assets and not having to come up with brand new puzzles. To be honest, my issue wasn't really about coming up with mechanics for them, but figuring out who would be the one using them. You see, if memory serves me right, Ben prime never turned into these aliens in the classic series. They were exclusive to Ben 10,000. It would be kinda weird gameplay wise to have to change into Ben 10,000 just so that you can access these 3 aliens plus the handful originals that had gotten the adult design in the series. For the sake of uniformity, I suppose you could have the dev team create adult versions of all aliens, so that Ben 10,000 could have his own roster. Alternatively you could just give these 3 to Ben Prime. I know I said you can take creative liberties with Lego games, it just feels that having Ben turn into aliens he never did in the show, would be kinda stretching it.

@@NeonHyperNova sorry for the late reply, but I think that maybe these guys could be unlockables that are available either late game or postgame so that way most levels have some form of replayability with the new routes I mentioned. I also think I could go well with a sort of custom playlist where you have at least 20 aliens total but you can only take 10 into a level. this ultimately makes the game as a whole more replayable you can take different aliens into a level after you beat it in story mode and thus unlock new routes and new collectibles. I don't think canonicity is really that important in this situation since you could have sith characters fight against their own boss fights once you unlocked them, meaning you could justify their inclusion as mere easter eggs.

Imagine not only getting to play as ben with his aliens and Max and Gwen, but getting to play as a bunch of the villains as well. You could go down the Zs'Skayr route and have him as a separate playable character (not sure what he would do differently than ghostfreak but still cool), there could be a playable Forever King or even Enoch with a sword and sword related puzzles, zombozo with mind control (maybe with omniverse continuity he can be stretchy too), maybe Hex and charmcaster who could have levitation and telekinesis and other magic based abilities, imagine a bigfig Vilgax with gold brick destroying laser eyes who can swim, or even getting to play as OG Kevin who could "freely" go between his regular kid self who could have electricity manipulation and a bigfig amalgam version of himself after he absorbed the omnitrix (this would kind of be like Stan Lee in the marvel games since he has a huge assortment of powers). You could go in some pretty awesome directions with this. I'm also imagining having some Generator Rex characters in there just for fun.

Awesome ideas. A sequel could use the multiverse. We play as different Bens and one Gwen from around the multiverse and each one has access to a different set of aliens which makes switching between them necessary and each different Ben and Gwen aliens can look different from each other like how Gwen looks in classic Ben10 and omniverse when she changes into an alien. The Ben10 reboot was much better than TTG and is the direction TTG should have went because it has a much better balance of hero action and comedy

For that hypothetical Skywalker Saga style game: LEGO Star Wars the Skywalker Saga had roughly 400 playable characters, LEGO DC Supervillains (the next most recent one I think) had 270, lI'd say it's reasonable to aim for around 320. Let's use Classic through Omniverse, in those series series Ben turns a total of 67 aliens (including ultimates). Eliminating ones like Ball Weevil and (sadly) Brainstorm that wouldn't translate well to LEGO games (either because they're too big (Way Big would probably be a custom giant big-fig you only get to play in missions), too boring or are awkwardly shaped), we're left with 60. including all the different variants of the aliens that are likely to appear (only the Ben Prime versions for now), you get 102. For human Ben, you'd probably get 2 outfits per series, so that's 110 spaces occupied by Ben. That leaves roughly 200 spaces for other characters, which I'd say is reasonable when most of the appeal of Ben 10 is seeing Ben transform into cool aliens. I'd give each Ben a character wheel with some aliens from their series, in story mode the wheel would have up to 10 aliens selected from what Ben had access to at the time, the level would be built around the aliens in that level's playlist (for levels based on episodes focused around 1 alien, e.g. Cannonbolt's intro, that alien would be on that level's playlist, for obvious reasons). In free play the bottom most space on the wheel would bring up the large character menu.

Would he have to absorb materials from certain locations or just be able to pull out a random object and absorb the material on command (using a transformation wheel)?

Absorbing materials on command through a weapon wheel would be the easy way to go I guess. Or do it like the first af game, and have specific objects he can absorb. Preferably actual objects like trees and stones, and not floating power ups. Unless the devs are willing to go as far as making literally every surface in the game interactable, I can't think of any other way Kevin's powers could be implemented at the moment.

I've genuinelly been thinking into doing a LEGO Ben 10 fan game (since I'm an indie developer), mainly as a practice and as a love letter for both the Ben 10 franchise and the LEGO games. I was also thinking the other day how the first level could have a segment in which we don't see Ben getting the omnitrix, and instead see him going to the forest and then the segment itself would be Max and Gwen putting out the fires, until they find Heatblast and then we get a mini-flashback on how Ben got the watch - it's a way to make a puzzle segment in the level while having 2 players and keeping the surprise of both to see Heatblast (mainly thinking if the dubbing of the game was like LEGO The Incredibles and LEGO Marvel's Avengers, where they took the lines directly from the movie - in this case, it'd be ripping the lines from the show itself)

Love this idea. Upgrade would be really easy as he can do anything the game developers need him to. Just have the player break a few things, build a thing, Upgrade upgrades it and the thing does whatever it needs to in comedically fashion. As for your roster. I'm sorry to say, they'd never make a Lego game of the original series. It'd have to be of the latest one, which would lend itself more to the figure restrictions of lego. Hard to make a OG Stinkfly lego figure. The co-op part wouldn't be that hard ether. The multiverse is a big staple of the entire franchise, so just have the second player be a Ben (or even Gwen) from another universe. Let them have a slightly different colour pallet. Like how Ben 23's aliens have a blue tint, Mad Ben's are orange, Albedo's are red, Gwen's are light purple. Otherwise (and as an older fan I hate to say this) it could work to frame the game as Ben and Kevin team up to beat preferably as many villains as the budget can afford. (For those who don't know. In the reboot, Kevin is a normal kid who make his own Omnitrix. His ones look more spiky and have different names.) If they don't want to go multiverse or have Kevin be a good guy, they could have Max and Gwen be able to do most, but not all, that Ben can plus a few things he can't. Gwen could shoot magic bullets, magic grapple hook drag thing, freeze, shoot fire, etcetera. And with plumber tech Max could do similar things. It is important in lego games that the all characters assigned to a story level are used about equally. It's so that when playing co-op the little brother isn't left behind or feels useless. And that's probably the main issue. Ben 10 doesn't lend itself very well to a Lego game, or even more importantly, Lego sets in general. Traveller's Tales might make the games, but Lego owns the ip. Lego Star Wars is different from Star Wars. Disney can't just go to Traveller's Tales and ask them to make a Lego Star Wars game. From Lego's perspective, the games are for kids to want to buy more Lego, not see the original films. So if we want a Lego Ben 10 game, we need a Lego Ben 10 theme. They released six Lego Jurassic World sets to go along with the Lego Jurassic World game in 2015 (God, I thought it was new). So lets go with that. These wore 2 small vehicle sets with 2 figures and 1 dinosaur for about 20-30$. 2 medium sets, 1 with a vehicle, the other with 1 structure, and both 3 figures and 2 dinosaurs for 40-50$. 1 big vehicle with 3 figures and 1 big dinosaur for 70$. And finally 1 huge structure with 4 figures and 1 big dinosaur for 130$. That is in total 17 figures and say 10 big figs. This sounds like a lot, but considering that Ben needs to be in every set, leves us with only 11 figures that need to be split up between Gwen, Max, all Ben's aliens, all the villains, plus duplicates. If they can skip on Ben in 2 sets and only include 2 Gwens and Maxes, that leves 9 figures and 10 big figs. Reboot Bens include Cannonbolt, Overflow, Heatblast, XLR8, Four Arms, Grey Matter, Diamondhead, Upgrade, Stinkfly, Wildvine, Gax, Shock Rock, Slapback, Humungousaur, Rath, Jetray, Goop, Way Big and Surge(?). Most of these would need custom moulds, which Lego doesn't like, so let's be sparing. Cannonbolt has no head and turning into a ball is hard. Overflow needs a custom helmet but should be fine. Heatblast should be fine with the burning headpiece. XLR8 might even need a custom head, but should be fine. Four Arms will need a custom big fig mould and you might not be able to move the lower arms. Grey Matter can maybe be a baby figure, don't know if Lego can put prints on those. Diamond head would really need a custom big fig mould, though we might get away with only arms. Upgrade doesn't need anything fancy. Stinkfly should manage with either custom cape and cowl or plastic wings. Wildvine would be nice with a cowl. Gax needs a custom big fig, but there could be overlap with Vilgax. Shock Rock might get away with a normal big fig, Slapback should have two figures. Humungousaur should also get away with a normal big fig, tail only if there already is one. Rath should also get away with a normal big fig, maybe even a regular figure (not sure on scale). Jetray would be hard, maybe just a cape? Goop could work with translucent lime green, just not sure if they've done all figure parts in translucent plastic before. Way big could be a set in of himself. And Surge, if included, would be brick built. Meaning about 6 new custom moulds plus Cannonbolt. What should the sets be about than? The rust bucket would need to be one, Way Big another, and the set piece for a fight against Vilgax another.

Honestly, as much as I'd love Kuro The Artist's MMO idea I think a LEGO Ben 10 game would be perfect if you look at all the other franchises that have been blocked. DC Supervillains and Star Wars in particular are great templates, shoot, why not go Skywalker Saga and literally travel the Ben 10 universe in any of the ships from the shows. Could go on and on but you get it.

As much as I love the idea of a Ben 10 Game done by Insomniac a Lego Ben 10 Game would be a good idea too especially if they take with what they did with The Skywalker Saga and utilize it for a new Ben 10 Game.

I could see Kevin 11 as an unlockable character in the game that has all of the powers of the original 10 except ones that conflict with others like Grey Matter's size and maybe Upgrade's upgrading.

If they focus on one ben 10 franchise the roster would be like less than 50 characters, it would be better to combine all franchises and the story could be a time travel thingy. Time travel was seen several times in ben 10 anyways.

Then there’s Alien Force. You’d have Ben’s aliens: Swampfire could laser down gold objects with fire and dig underground like Grundy. Humongousaur would be a big fig. Echo Echo could duplicate himself to access step switches or whatever, as well as destroy glass with his siren. Spidermonkey could literally do anything Spider-Man does. Big Chill could travel pass entry ways undetected and turn enemies to ice cubes. Also, he could fly. Chromostone would basically be a purple Diamond Head with the addition of conducting and releasing electricity. Brainstorm could access computers and release electricity if needed, but not control it like Chromostone. Goop would be somewhat like Mr. Fantastic with a few tweaks. He could grapple and maybe travel through short-character chutes? Just because he slid under doors in the show. Jet Ray could laser down gold objects and fly, obviously. Rath would be another big fig. Lodestar could climb magnet walls, but he can also levitate, so there really wouldn’t be any need for him to. You have Gwen, whose abilities almost match the ones seen before with the Jedi or Hogwarts Wizards. She could move things and even have the tracking ability like Wolverine. And Kevin would be an interesting character in the game altogether. He could have a “suit” circle similar to Ben’s Omnitrix but with certain material suits that would be stronger, reflective or more durable to progress further in the game.

I think anything ben 10 related that was aimed at a more mature audience would totally make big bucks. The community is still somehow thriving and I even talked to some new younger fans that discovered the old stuff after seeing the reboot and how bad it is. If anything the amount of fans is still growing. Even aside from that fact there are still a shit ton of fans. Let's not forget that ben 10 was the #1 franchise on cartoon network 10 years in a row in terms of views and popularity and those aren't manipulated stats because they rarely even streamed reruns of the show. I remember them only steaming it once when a new episode came out then once the morning after for those who missed it. Occasionally a ben 10 marathon but once in a blue moon. Just look though youtube ben 10 videos are still getting insane views. It might not be as popular as big marvel or dc but as a smaller franchise and even a smaller world in that franchise it could really thrive if given a chance today. Though I really want this I know it is very unlikely to happen. Dwayne McDuffie is no longer with us and he was mostly responsible for that darker story. Man of action is a producer of children's shows. They have stated that they don't have any interest in this idea and that's the whole reason they made the reboot. I know on a production level ben 10 is dead. It's sad because it really could be big if they just let it be big.

It absolutely could be possible to have a lego ben 10 game, lego avengers inadvertently proves it with it's iron man suit wheel, I'd imagine a ben 10 lego game making HEAVY use of a mechanic like that, you'd just need existing LEGO ben 10 sets first, as every lego game has been based off of series with existing sets

heres what i see could happen for a lego ben 10 game characters: Classic Ben (from the classic series) with all of his playlists of aliens Teen Ben (from Alien Force) with all of his playlists of aliens Ultimate Ben (from Ultimate Alien) with his playlists Omni Ben (omniverse) with his playlists Gwen and her versions Kevin with his versions Max with his versions some notable characters like alternate bens such as ben 23, classic uaf and omniverse ben 10k, and Gwen 10, maybe some named plumbers and some regular alien civilians, cant forget the love interests as well villains then you could have hubworlds, similar to either lego Batman 3 with seperate worlds that arent large or Skywalker saga with large worlds and space as for the story, it could go along with the ben 10 story or make a new one where the multiverse is in danger and the main ben primes need to team up and beat a multiversal threat for gameplay, i could see the little rotation wheel that lego batman 3 has for costumes, like you can have a large wheel in the shape of an omnitrix version like classic with diamondhead, heatblast, etc etc, with 10 aliens in a playlist, you could probably customize your playlists if you want, to pick another playlist, you open up the little wheel and you have the character select and next to it the playlist select then the rest of the aliens you go to azmuth and he gives you an option for a custom playlist where you can have your own playlist of aliens you like, the aliens you can pick are limited to the omnitrix you want, so you cant have omniverse aliens on a classic prototype omnitrix now for the custom character, you can have custom characters WITH THEIR OWN OMNITRIX or any power thats in the game like magic, absorption etc etc, you can pick from a wide variety of omnitrixes since theres multiple, like you can have the classic, uaf ones or omniverse or alternate ones like albedos, ben 23, the ben 10ks and other variations of ben introduced in omniverse, as for the custom characters omnitrix, when creating your character your omnitrix will have a default playlist and you must speak to azmuth to create your playlists, the before mentioned "you cant have omniverse aliens on a classic prototype omnitrix" rule is thrown out for the custom character, so you can have bloxx on a.... ultimatrix for example aliens can also get different versions, like in the custom playlist creator, you can have something like "Diamondhead (Classic), or (Ultimate Alien), (Omniverse)" etc etc to use ultimate aliens, you could probably hold in the Y, triangle button etc (ya know, the transformation button) then you can go from Humansaur to Ultimate Humansaur DID I MENTION YOU COULD ALSO CREATE YOUR OWN ALIENS AS WELL AND ALSO HAVE A CUSTOM ULTIMATE ALIEN im done

honestly it's the only possible option for ben to have A Shi-ton of aliens. Most Ben 10 games are 4 aliens per time or less.The lego games are the only games that i know of that uses almost a hundred characters. ANd since it's a Swap Character A to Character B type of change it would be the perfect Character change style for the omnitrix

If it actually happened I bet the other Ben10s will be DLC packs (Not just from the other shows, any of the other Bens like the blue one Ben25 and ZomBENzo from Omnitrix, Although Ben10,000 and Albedo might come with the game but Warner Brother knows how starving we are for Ben10 content and knows we would still buy the reskins of characters we already have even if it costs our souls and it'd be understandable if Albedo wasn't in the game since he was not really in classic) But yeah even though Lego Ben10 is more realistic, Ben10 would make a great game series on its own because in Omniverse the cannon has been confirmed to be "I dunno, stuff happens I guess" because there are infinite Bens so literally anything you can imagine is cannon so a game where you play as a diffrent ben then the ones in the show would be cool, it could have a level system so you can only play as aliens you are high enough level to use but also each alien has its own levels to add replayability, Characters who are not Ben like Gwen and Kevin can have more complex controls while Ben is a lot easier to use, I can imagine a lot of good puzzles would be there for specific aliens to solve
