What If Catapults Were Chess Pieces? - Ouroboros King

Ouroboros King Part 3 - the fact that it doesn't upgrade to a trebuchet is a shame. Maybe in a future update? It's still really strong as is, attacking over enemy pieces is no joke.

Wow, did not expect the leper to be a Tabith-taking double edged sword! Also didn't expect having the queen essentially be a "game losing" piece, in addition to the king, making such a large difference to the dynamics of each round.

13:47 catapult actually has 2 overlapping movesets in the vertical, a normal blockable move and a jumping move. The blockable move is what goes through portals how you'd expect. Jumping moves work a little differently with portals; it only counts the starting and end points (as 2 tiles) as the path it took. So if a jumping piece lands exactly on the portal, it gets an "extra move" from the exit, with the same distance/direction, which in your case was off the board.

no it's supposed to do both but because of a skill issue the dev couldn't make the logic work properly and so it can't jump over a piece after going through the portal

idk how i feel about the undo not undoing the spiked shield i feel like the undo should be for correcting mistakes, not as something that actually gives you a material advantage

it sorta makes sense since thats how it works for everything else (e.g. it doesn't refund items) and it can also give you a disadvantage as a result, but yeah i feel like it would make wayy more sense to have it return _everything_ about the game state to how it was before you used the undo

a PVP for this game would be amazing At the beggining both players pick 3 random pieces and a random relic Play round 1 After that you get to choose either a new piece or to upgrade an existant piece Play round 2 after Both players get to choose a relic Play round 3 After that you get to choose either a new piece or to upgrade an existant piece Play round 4 (if necessary) after Both players get to choose a relic Play a final fifht round if necessary The first player to get 3 wins is the winner of the match, put a 20 seconds timer per turn so players won't sit there doing nothing if the timer reach 0 you miss your turn and can't make a move (this way missing a turn can even be part of the strategy)

There’s a funny bug (or I assume it’s a bug) where if you use the extra move every three turns but can move the same piece twice relic and it’s just your king, the opponents will just move their pieces infinitely and not kill the king.
