Darth Sidious was the dark lord of the Sith and in control of the Empire. What If his Empire was one that was filled with Sith Warriors? How would the Sith assist the Imperial Military? I as a writer would make him full time Sith becoming more powerfull and knowledable in the dark side. He would have all property and texts from Plagueis, Sidious and others With Ventress as more dark side corrupted and powerfull maybe a bit Vaderesque monster. Rulling trought the dark side. In lighsaber combat was the greatest danger for Sidious according to Damask. All worlds would become puppets bathing in the dark side, food and water changed by Sith alchemy to create perfect obedient servants. Like Byss in legends. Imagine if for example Ahsoka or Anakin or both were in some way heavilly mutated by the dark side abilities, that would be unnatural, grotesque. Both physical and mental changes, progressive, but they would be just creations of dark side, not too much different inside, same thinking, same people, but heavilly changed. Similar to Massasi or further nutations of the original Sith. It would be curious to see such struggle from their point of view, how would the Jedi, Padmé react to have basicaly a monster instead of the friend you knew. It must be isolating more than Vader's suit. I would feel enormously ashamed. But maybe it would be advantegious?

​@@Achuidian179it's possible that he simply _feared_ that it would be the case. He only has to get unlucky once, and it's easy to set aside differences when there's somebody else to take care of. Also, given how he killed his own master, he must have been cognisant of the fact that all it takes is a moment's lapsed concentration to be killed. This is part of why I liked Pente Patrol's story where Sidious and Vader die as a battleship crashes into the Senate building (I believe it was "What if the Separatists joined the Rebellion")- it's canon accurate to how Sidious died, and it's a reasonable way for a Sith Lord to die. Caught slipping. If he has two Apprentices who know about each other, any time they spend together is a risk. Not to mention that it breaks the clear progression of the Rule of Two; Master teaches Apprentice until Apprentice becomes stronger than Master, at which point Apprentice kills Master and finds a new Apprentice. That format was important for the Apprentice, too. They didn't have to fight with somebody at their level, they got a chance to learn from somebody stronger than them for the entire duration, until the point at which they could beat them. Two Apprentices encourages competition, maybe fatal, which would unnerve the Apprentices and make them look for moments where there was a clear difference in power in the two of them (as say with Maul and Tyrannus), at which point they might be powerful enough to defeat their Master together. Sidious didn't care about the Rule of Two, but he understood its logic. You had to be better than your Master to kill them. Stronger, faster, smarter, luckier even. Something that would hopefully leverage into the next generation needing to be even stronger/faster/smarter/luckier, and so on. It obviously didn't work, up until Tenebres or even Plagueis the Rule of Two Sith were very weak compared to the heights of the Sith before (albeit it may well be they were more cunning and perhaps more capable in many aspects, certainly being Jacks of all Trades, better than Master of One), but it contained an element of truth: you had to best your Master. It means that, save for waiting until somebody dies of natural or outside causes, you have to beat your Master while they are strong than their Master was, and so on, with the few natural causes of wins-by-luck being rare enough to not reverse the flow of progress. But adding a second opponent to the equation would disrupt that. Each Apprentice could be only 60% of the way there to Sidious' power when they try to kill him. He has to worry much earlier, and much more broadly, than he does with one Apprentice. And more, even if they team up and attack him and it goes as well as Savage and Maul on Mandalore, that's a lot of progress you're losing if you're forced to kill both. You don't have to kill both, you could merely beat them, and then force them to fight until one killed the other, but it's Sidious. Having multiple Apprentices going in parallel was the Sidious thing to do, and it made some sense.

@@bodhip Yep. I will say, that was the Sith's argument in favour of it. Did it succeed? This may just be writers having fun, but the most powerful Sith we know of seem to be pre-Rule of Two Sith, and the most powerful Rule of Two Sith we know of seem not to have killed their master through any strength or cunning, but often just luck. Plagueis killed his master with a falling rock, and he's the one that managed to cloud the force for the Jedi so they couldn't sense him or Sidious. Sidious killed Plagueis by getting him very drunk, and the only reason Plagueis was vulnerable is because he was almost killed by an assassination attempt previously and relied on a breathing mask to live. Of course the Rule of Two _was_ the plan that eventually led to the Sith conquest of the galaxy, so it did work, but it didn't actually succeed because of the Sith getting more and more powerful. The Sith didn't seem to have an end goal in mind, just accumulate more and more power and wait for opportunities until something shows up. And over ten thousand years it's not surprising something did.

I’ve got an amazing what if idea: What if Darth Bane created his own Sith Empire The basic story is the Bane and 11 other members survived the fall of the old empire. Using Revans Holocron they come up with the system that combines the Rule of Two, Vitiates Sith Empire and Rule of 1 by Darth Krayt. Meaning 1 Emperor (The leader and their Wrath (second in command) 10 other Dark Lords of the Sith. Also every Sith Lord must only have one apprentice no more. When the apprentice completes their training they’ll either rank up to Sith Lord or kill their master. Also adding new ranks and positions to expand their abilities by adding new ranks and evolution the Sith grows more quickly than the rule of two sith.

Some of these I would make on AO3 but I don’t know how I am doing 1, 2 and 4 and I plan to do 15

Honestly i dont even know what to write here, the story is going to be cool that I have no doubts about, so many possibilities that this story could take. Im going to assume its going to be a bt similar to what if palpatinr turned the younglings, or something similar. Which was a good story, so hopefully this one is even better What if Darth Zannah was a Jedi? Either she refrains from killing the Jedi who originally comes for her, or another Jedi takes her instead soon after, assuming Bane doesn't find her or a twin of some kind exists. She undergoes training until she becomes a Jedi Knight or perhaps even a Jedi Master. Then, she receives one of two visions. The first vision portrays Anakin or Luke as the chosen one. She believes in the prophecy and enters stasis, intending to train them to confront Palpatine during the Clone Wars or the time of the Empire. The second vision involves Palpatine himself, maybe as the Emperor. Believing that she is the chosen one due to this, she enters stasis until the Clone Wars, awakened by the Force or some other catalyst. To fight him herself. To maintain her characterization as the Zannah we know and love, she excels as a master of Form Three and is proficient in Jedi Alchemy or sorcery, perhaps even both. I think the second vision would make for a better story, as training Anakin/Luke videos are already abundant on your channel. (Day 59)

Wait, Plagueis stopped the rule of two in his mind, when he killed his master. He wanted to train Dooku and allowed Maul, Plagueis wanted to teach all to Sidious and have him as equal. He was highly unorthodox and in the behining didn't want to train an apprentice. Also Sidious had issues with the rule of two.

I like the idea of the Sith Empire rising again. Though I do find Maul beating Vader on his own to be kinda a stretch personally but since it lead to the narrative of the three brothers trying to overthrow Sidious but not knowing that Sidious had figured out essence transfer, and thus being unable to actually best him, I am willing to look past that. I also think it's a bit odd for the Jedi to be unable to have killed any of the sith during the fight with Palpatine, but since only the brothers and Vader had any significant impact on the story later it probably didn't matter much. Also I do wonder how others would think about a scenario where the Sith Empire never truly fell, and the rule of two was never established. Now I'm not saying that the Sith would continue to be out in the open, but I think of it as Bane took those most loyal to him and dedicated to the pursuit of finding the old knowledge of the ancient Sith, and went into hiding, maybe building up in the unknown regions to come back later. In such a scenario Palpatine would have been a part of the Sith Empire, still trying to play his role in the senate but he'd not be the only one, and thus it'd not be a given for him to become chancellor as easily. He'd have to navigate two different political groups, the republic, which wouldn't be much different from what we know it as in that era, and the secret Sith Empire, which due to his strength in the dark side and proficiency in learning he'd have reached a fairly high position, maybe he'd be the Sith Emperor, or maybe he'd be one of the ones that'd be most likely to take the position. Regardless it'd be very interesting, and I did notice there was a video about what if the Sith Empire came back during the clone wars but I've not watched that video and assumed it'd be similar to the beginning of the what if Vitiate came back during the clone wars. I do intend on watching it, but I've just not done it yet.

I really like this. A lot of other stories have the emperor doing some very foolish things like single-handedly trying to take on 10-20 very powerful opponents. Others just have people like Dooku, able to beat him in one on one combat which while the latter is very powerful is still very much unlikely.

What if Maul even by TPM Era was a Black Panther level hand to hand combatant as well as weapons master that fully mastered all the fighting forms when it comes to unarmed battling and weapons wielding lets say he learned this all on Dathomir already being like the UFC And MMA champion fighter of the planet lets say he was neither a sith, jedi, light sith, or grey jedi nor dark jedi but something else completely under the teachings of Talzin And Sidious both on the planet? 2. What if Dooku even by TPM posessed powers and abilities in the force that not even Yoda Nor Sidious posessed for combative force use and for scholery reasons? 3. What if Anakin was a Zorro Don Diego Level Lightsaber, Lightwhip, AND Light Dagger fighter as well as being the orders best marksperson Punisher level? 4. What if Palpatine found the way to immortality even predating TPM Era and found a way to make his midichlorian count higher through Midichlorian Manipulation on the next level? 5. I'd like a counter story to this. Maybe since Sidious is so focused on an empire he doesn't try to turn Anakin. Cloning Anakin, on the other hand...... Have his own division of Anakin charged midichlorian DNA in clone troopers for an elite guard or something along those lines. Course, the downside to that would be a chance for them to detect and understand the chip in all clone heads. Whoopsie. LoL. Sidious would (in my mind) still go after Anakin to some extent, just not to turn him. He's got enough to deal with. On the other hand, if he could at least get Anakin to distrust the Order and leave completely, that'd still be a win. Then he and his army could cut him down at a more opportune moment. That's what I think Sidious would plan for anyway. Due to such turbulent times, I don't think Padme(more likely to have died on Naboo if one of Maul's siblings was there) and Anakin would seek a relationship. Anakin would have too much on his plate trying to deal with things in the clone wars with an occasional sith to deal with. Would put the Order as a whole on high alert. In that regard, they'd leave the Republic to the Republic and focus on fighting. Maybe some embracing being generals and some embracing (leaving the Order) to be more like Warriors....and sone just sick of the war opting for peacekeeping. Heck, there there could be a split due to the chaos. As there's an increase to fighting, some would become scarred (PTSD for Jedi) and they'd have to deal with that. With so many Jedi unable to deal with the added pressure, something's gotta give. Order 66 may even come sooner than expected due to the Jedi being broken. The remaining Council (I believe Plo would definitely have left before the order) being arrogant would be blindsided first by the Order and then by the fallen Jedi when their end would come. I do believe that in Exile or exploring during the Empire some Jedi would have found Love and either taken on children or had them. Definitely Anakin given his range of emotions and attachments. Maybe some Jedi would fall into madness (but not going dark). Hmm -- imagine a crazy Yoda, lol. Traumatized by the war, 66, the Purge, and running for their lives. If that didn't do em in, imagine the night terrors. I can imagine quite a few scenarios right off the bat playing out by this base thought/story. Most of which not very happy endings, but not entirely bad either. I can think of a few happy(ish) endings after sitting here for a few mins. Though it would definitely take longer than in Canon. Would be in Grogu's lifetime.

What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia. What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance. What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings. What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.

Yes and no. The Sith component of his empire is merely just him and Vader. Sure, he makes all the rules, but the Sith as a culture and religion doesn’t get honored or elevated to a position of supremacy. The military treats the Inquisitors as if another branch of the military, not as their masters. The military, especially for people like Tarkin, treats Vader as if an asset that the Emperor bestows on them and not as their Sith master that only sits below the Emperor. I’ve been playing some SWTOR again and you can see the real difference in hierarchy of the Sith Empire there. Sith are the ruling elites of the empire and they are not hesitant to tell you that. To serve the Sith is considered the highest honor for the military. Grand Admirals and Grand Moffs actually answer to high ranking Sith Lords instead of bossing them around.

Have you done a what if dathomir won the battle of dathomir? It wouldn't be hard to explain. mother Talzin was insanely powerful, she matched sidious in force combat and windu in lightsaber combat and had many powerful abilities unique to the nightsisters, from her self homing green lightning to the lightning and blaster proof force bubble she can conjure to her ability to use voodoo dolls. Here is my proposal, Grievous sets off to kill Talzin, grevious and his 4 commando droids arrive at Talzin's hut. Talzin uses telekinesis to hurl grievous straight through the wall, he is not force sensitive and can't do anything about it and she has shown fully capable of casually flying using the force, even palpatine can't do that. With grievous temporarily dealt with she conjures the blaster proof barrier and swiftly knocks down the 4 commando druids with her lightning. She now faces grievous in a 1v1, this is a completely unfair fight, as mentioned earlier, this is someone who matched DARTH SIDIOUS in force combat, and matched MACE WINDU in lightsaber combat, comparing her to grievous is like pitting a jedi against some rando with a lightsaber, even less fair because she has a ranged attack with her lightning, which jedi don't get so she can just blow grievous to pieces from a distance, no problem and even if he can block it with his sabers, this is someone who matched windu in a fight, no way can she lose in a 1v1 against grievous. I also want to see where this goes with ventress, savage and maul, as well as politically, depending on whether her voodoo magic against dooku requires her constant undivided attention or if she can just go back to it later afterwards, with dooku and grievous dead what will palpy do? what will the jedi do? what will the seperatists do? if sidious goes to take out talzin himself it gets even funnier because he is going down if he tries that, she alone is at least his equal in a straight up fight and commands an army of nightsisters, he would die.

what if anakins mum was a sith lord not connected to plagueis or palp and was also secretly training padme and had plans to train her son to take over jabbas empire and the rest of the criminal empires of the outer rim to bring about a new sith empire anakin would still go with the jedi but it would be to find the rouge sith to kill them and to recruit jedi to become, when the war hits both these tasks become far easier to the point of getting both ashoka and eventually obi-wan (using the idea of him going to marry satine)
