The future of denmark is to band together with norway and sweden. Then we fill in the øresund and kattegat, bridging danish land with Norwegian and Swedish land. We will still have water lanes for shipping in and out of the baltic sea however.

Why italy suffered that much? I mean they were weak and imcompetant so entewte wouldn't care if it's still one piece or not. And UK supported united italy (and france a little I guess...) while only austria would support such a thing and I'm not sure why western entete care thir opinion. and I also Don't think france would expand into rhine but region would be strip away from Prussia as another independent state whit boh austria and frtance competes for infulance. Idk why but the way you make peace deals are wired.

I still think Prussia would easily beat Denmark and get all of Schleswig-holstein, even if Denmark was more industrielized and had a bigger army Prussia simply outmatches them in every aspect, the Prussians would plan ahead in beating the danish defensive line and destroy the 2 armies on their sides. The Prussians main advantages during this era was speed and preparations, they would quickly rush Denmark before Denmark could prepare a good enough defensive, winning the war. So Germany would still get formed and ww1 would basically be the same but Denmark on the Entente and Sweden with the Central powers You basically ignored Norway, in the 1800s Norwegian nationalism was quickly rising, the Norwegians would not be content with danish rule without any major reforms, an Austria-Hungary like reform would have to be implemented turning Denmark into "the United Kingdom of Denmark and Norway" or something similar
