All the episodes that are shown to us in the series do not have to follow a chronology similar to the MCU, because the events of each of them take place in different universes. The universes only adhere to the basic foundation of the chronology of the MCU, but are not obliged to copy the chronology of the sub-frequent 2. The Time Stone Thanos could get by finding it among the ruins of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Ultron staged a nuclear apocalypse across the planet and it was unlikely that the mages of Kamar'Taj had the opportunity to survive it. 3. Regarding the space stone, reality stone, soul stone and power stone, then read the point 1 again 4. The Mind stone is able to cut Thanos in half, and right now I will explain this: Wanda's forces are superior to the Mind stone in energy power, and are also capable of destroying the uru armor of Thanos. This means that the Mind stone is capable of inflicting damage to uru metal with a certain force of impact. 5. Regarding Ego and Guardians of the Galaxy, read point 1 6. Regarding the work of the Stones outside their universe: in the Endgame, the Avengers calmly stole Stones from other timelines and then calmly used them for "Snaping" in their timeline

When every other interaction he had with shows he didn't love her, that one line isn't enough to go "oh no he did love her". Also it gives a breathing episode of most under rated hawkeye and black widow to shine even without superhuman powers. In this particular episode...what I don't understand is...why did Thanos have the Time Stone? There are only two options, and neither seems especially plausible. . 1) The Ancient One and other sorcerers abandoned Earth, and sometime later Thanos, with his four Stones, caught them, taking the Time Stone for himself. Then he tracked the Mind Stone and teleported to Ultron's location, and was instantly split in twain. . 2) The Ancient One and the rest died like all the others in the nuclear holocaust, and Thanos arrived at its resting place first, taking it from her corpse, Then tracked down the Mind Stone, teleporting to Ultron's location and immediately got sliced in half. . There really aren't any other ways.

As much as I want to say that this episode is awesome... I noticed some points in the timeline doesnt make sense. How did Thanos get the Space, Power & Soul stones. The Tesseract was in Asgard but it looks fine before Ultron laserbeamed it. Xandar was also fine and that meant Thanos didn't "decimate" Xandar. And most IMPORTANTLY the Soul stone. Who did he kill and loved besides Gamora which I'm pretty sure was on Sovereign with the Guardians which looked like the beginning of Vol 2 which takes place in months between Vol. 1 & AOU. I don't know how Thanos got the Time stone without Ultron even noticing. I may be overthinking this too much and may be wrong but please tell me someone actually noticed any of this.

This 30 minute episode of What If was Infinitely better than Age Of Ultron. This made Ultron a more truly (for lack of a better word) fleshed out and even more terrifying character than he was in that movie. Good thing you mention TVA cause they : 1. Claim to have a tech that can destroy android from inside out, 2. Bringing Ultron there can disable the infinity stones. BUT, let's not forget that the TVA hunters was defeated by 2 depowered Lokis (under Kang's approval ofc). So Ultron alone could still win even there.

Okay, can someone clear these things up for me? - I thought Guardians 2 was set a year before Age of Ultron, so Ego would’ve already been destroyed by the Guardians by then. - Didn’t Loki establish that the Infinity Stones are useless outside of time and space? - Vision was capable of killing Thanos all this time yet couldn’t in Infinity War?

1. this is a different timeline so whether Ego ever even encountered the Guardians here is unknown 2. Stones only worked in their own timelines back when the "main timeline" was enforced but now the multiverse has spread the rules change a bit (Kang is looking a bit of a nice evil now isnt he?) 3. You'd be surprised how much morals can hold back a person. It's well established here that Ultron has no morals and has no problem with causing endless death, whereas Jarvis/Vision was more about saving lives and upholding peace

@@zacharyjackson1829 For number 2, you do know that Kang is a variant of He Who Remains, right? He’s an alternate version of him. For number 3, nothing about morals should stop Vision from killing a genocidal alien warlord, especially when one of his generals attacked him.

I really liked this episode. Obviously was not a follow on the the last one since in the last one Ultron already had the stones and in this one he acquires them. I can't believe Thanos was so easily defeated.
