2:59 originally this series was going to have 10 chapters, the ninth was going to be that of gamora and Tony stark, in the end they ended up eliminating that chapter and only 9 were left (originally the battle against Ultron was going to be the tenth chapter)

Visi-tron appears and snatches the Soul Stone with Nuclear Nat in tow but Party Thor shears his arm off with Mjolnir! As Dark Strange magically armors the Widow while sparing her a deadly drop with a portal that brings her safely to the ground, Kill-Panther races to grab the fallen Stone only to lose it when he's blasted by Visi-tron. In a boss move, a frustrated Visi-tron unleashes enough energy to WIPE OUT THE MILKY WAY BUT DARK STRANGE SWALLOWS THE BLAST much to the android's shock! A relentless barrage of hammer blows, shield slings, laser blasts, lightning bolts, magic bursts, blade thrusts, claw strikes and hard kicks rain on Visi-tron but it's a deadly bifurcating slash by Gladiator Gamora's blade that forces the android to reverse the damage with the Time Stone that brings the Soul Stone within his grasp! Dark Strange seizes his hand with a tentacle and dispels the time reversal with his own Time Stone! Visi-tron grows to gargantuan heights and Dark Strange goes full Cthulhu choking the giant with Shuma-Gorath tentacles! Gladiator Gamora snatches the Soul Stone while Party Thor pins the android with the full force of his lightning and Dark Strange, in demonic form, shackles him with magical manacles held fast by Captain Carter, Kill-Panther and Party Thor! As Star-T'Challa and Gladiator Gamora stand poised to strike, the Infinity Crusher skitters forward planting itself on Visi-tron's chest plucking the Stones from his armor! There is a massive burst of light and, when the dust settles, Visi-tron crows that their efforts are to no avail because each universe is a fraction unique rendering the Infinity Crusher ineffective in this reality! Visi-tron blasts the team who withstand the blow and it finally dawns on the android that the source of their resilience is Dark Strange. He pours it on and some of the team's protection spells are whisked away with Nuclear Nat losing her shield completely! Peggy steps in to cover her but both are hurled away into the rubble where Nat conveniently winds up near her cycle and sees the USB arrow with the Zola virus! As the Guardians struggle to endure Visi-tron's onslaught, Peggy and Nat partner up with Cap taking a flying leap off a rooftop onto the android's back while Widow ramps her cycle into the air taking aim with Clint's bow. The USB arrow punctures Visi-tron's eye just as Carter wrenches his visor back allowing Zola to worm his way in! Zola exterminates Ultron! Kill-Panther uses the drone head to peel the vibranium chassis from Visi-tron's inert form as nano-particles that encase him and transfer the Stones as well. He pleads with the Guardians to seize this opportunity to correct their universes but they reject his offer. Meanwhile, Zola, now visible as a digital face on a screen in Visi-tron's torso, contests Kill-Panther for control of the Stones! ZOLA'S APPEARANCE APPROXIMATES HIS COMIC-ACCURATE LOOK. With the Stones poised between them, Zola and Stevens remain locked in a tug-of-war as Dark Strange encases them in a pocket mirror dimension and Uatu shrinks them to the size of a snowglobe! Back in his own pocket mirror dimension, Strange acknowledges Uatu's strategic foresight including the failure of the Infinity Crusher, the betrayal of Kill-Panther and the sorcerer's acceptance of his own fate to be a custodian to the two tiny embattled villains. Back in the Bleed, Uatu sends the heroes back to their universes from the pub stating that none but Uatu will know what they accomplished. Party Thor, Gladiator Gamora and Star-T'Challa take their leave returning to Jane's embrace in Vegas, Stark's side on Nidavellir and Quill's back fighting Ego at the Dairy Queen, respectively. Captain Carter lingers in hope of being repatriated to the '40's but Uatu assures her she is where she needs to be. She smiles at Nuclear Nat, her trusted friend in multiple realities. ARMED WITH KNOWLEDGE OF HYDRA'S EXISTENCE FROM NAT AND ZOLA, IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW HER VERSION OF "THE WINTER SOLDIER" PLAYS OUT. Nuclear Nat refuses to return to her dead Earth and chastises Uatu over his creed of non-interference but the Watcher balances the Multiversal scales by placing Natasha in the universe where Hank Pym killed the Avengers including Black Widow. In a continuation of the EPISODE 3 cliffhanger, the War with Asgard is fully underway with Captain America and Captain Marvel battling Einherjar aboard a SHIELD helicarrier. As Loki is about to enslave Fury with the Chitauri Scepter, Nuclear Nat takes him down and turns the Scepter on him! Fury is stunned but isn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. END-CREDIT SCENE: Carter gets sucker-punched by Batroc upon her return but he's shocked by a Widow sting mid-boast. Peggy embraces Nat who finds the excessive affection a little odd. Nat leads Carter to the hold of 'The Lemurian Star' which contains the pirates' objective: the Hydra Stomper complete with occupant! Is it skinny Steve Rogers? Has he been brainwashed and cryogenically-preserved Winter Soldier-style? In the MCU version of this story, the pirates were secretly hired by Fury so he could order a rescue team as cover for Natasha's true mission of downloading a copy of the Zola algorithm that had been uploaded by Hydra sleeper Jasper Sitwell to a Project Insight satellite. If Fury was behind Batroc in this universe, he might have misgivings about the Stomper and its pilot. The story continues next season. Excellent finale! The only issue is that the Infinity Stones aren't supposed to work outside their native universe which is a HUGE PLOT-HOLE. Otherwise, it elegantly tied everything together and left the door open for more possibilities. Can't wait for Season 2!

They are playing pretty fast and loose with the "laws" of the Infinity Stones [Or what constitutes a further reality than the Infinity Stones can control]. I mean, it was my understanding that these "laws" were to specifically stop one owner of a full set of Infinity Stones FROM invading another's reality. For that matter, what happened to the other five Stones from Armani Strange's world? Since he literally fought everything else he should have encountered them. That is a "What If" I would like to see: What if Strange got all six Stones.

7:09 - As far as I know, the Watcher, AKA Uatu, could have given each member of the team incredible cosmic power. But I think in the spirit of trying to maintain some kind of his grasp on his oath to only watch, he only gathered the team and transported them. What the hell do I know? I've been wrong about a lot of things when it comes to this show. 11:40 - They're not really supposed to work in other realities. The stones are attuned to each individual reality, and they kinda-sorta make an issue of that, but they cut corners when it's convenient. 20:22 - I read that Captain Carter's story would continue to be played out, so this moment is a preview. And by the way, Magy... Since I can't send you "love letters" anymore, I'll have to tell you here that I had a strange dream with you in it a few nights ago. These are the only things I remember: we were at a diner with two other people, I started singing "Sunrise, Sunset" from "Fiddler on the Roof," and you joined in. Like I said... Strange dream. ;-)

I'm glad Black widow got a happy ending. although she's in a world where Clint died and can't see Thor, hulk, or tony; she can be there for Clint's family, befriend captain America, and live in a world without Ultron (since tony died before creating him). I'm also glad T'challa stopped Ego from using Peter and that Peter seems to be part of the ravagers now. I love seeing a 21st century Peggy carter and I love her friendship with Black widow (I hope to see more of her in season 2). can't wait for season 2 so we can see the story of Gamora and Tony

Everyone got their happy ending except for Ultimate Dr.Strange, in a prison forever guarding a prison. Even Ultron and Dr.Arnim Zola are locked in eternal battle (unaware) which is great for them they have a purpose forever, we saw how sad Ultron was when he won, and had no one left to fight. There was supposed to be an episode in which, after sending the nuke to the Chitauri spaceship (Avengers 2012), Stark got unable to make it through the portal. After which he lands on Sakaar (where Thor landed in Ragnarok). But it got deleted or never made it through.

Yeah, THe season was supposed to be 10 episodes and season 2 was also supposed to be 10, but recently, I've heard there were gonna be 9 for s1 and 11 for s2. I guess that was the Stark/Gamorra episode. It was supposed to be on this season, but they couldn't finish it in time (I guess Covid reasons) so it will be probably pushed back for season 2. I'd love to see the episode where they both teamed up and fought (and won) against Thanos and ended their Infinity Stones. That sounds like a great episode, to me !

Hayley Atwell is Peggy Carter, Toby Jones is Arnim Zola, Frank Grillo is Brock Rumlow, Georges St.-Pierre is Georges Batroc, Chris Hemsworth is Thor, Tom Hiddleston is Loki, Chadwick Boseman is T'Challa, Michael B. Jordan is Erik 'Killmonger' Stevens, Benedict Cumberbatch is Dr. Stephen Strange, Samuel L. Jackson is Col. Nick Fury and Kurt Russell is Ego. The returning substitutes are Lake Bell replacing Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanov, Brian T. Delaney replacing Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Mick Wingert replacing Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark, Ozioma Akagha replacing Letitia Wright as Shuri and Ross Marquand of "The Walking Dead" replacing James Spader as Ultron. The new addition is Cynthia McWilliams replacing Zoe Saldana as Gamora. All the substitutes are reasonable facsimiles. In a glimpse of a PANDEMIC-POSTPONED EPISODE which will air in SEASON 2, Sakaaran gladiator Gamora is plucked from Nidavellir where she and fellow armored gladiator Tony Stark are enlisting the aid of Dwarf-Giant Eitri to melt down an Infinity Gauntlet! In a continuation of the EPISODE 7 cliffhanger, Party Thor is plucked from the Vegas strip as he battles the Ultron drones that have already invaded his universe! The team materializes in Captain Carter's Howling Commando English pub hangout metaphorically constructed in the Multiversal Bleed by Uatu. Dark Strange from EPISODE 4 is the bartender. The Watcher lays out the threat of Visi-tron while Kill-Panther eyes the vibranium in a drone's head that came with Party Thor who incredulously walks out only to be almost sucked into the Multiversal Bleed! Gladiator Gamora breaks out their ace-in-the-hole: the Infinity Crusher, a device capable of pulverizing the Infinity Stones! They're whisked away to a promontory on a desolate planet to ambush their quarry. Cap Carter learns about Steve-Cap from Dark Strange, Kill-Panther studies the drone head too intently for Gladiator Gamora's liking and Star-T'Challa salvages a rambling toast by the sorcerer which elicits a lightning storm from Party Thor that attracts Visi-tron's attention. Dark Strange girds the team with individualized runes that form a protective coating mimicking armor and shields! The android easily absorbs a full blast from Mjolnir while Gladiator Gamora and Kill-Panther sneak off through a portal. Visi-tron demolishes their mountain perch but the remaining Guardians emerge from the rubble magically shielded! Dark Strange multiplies a hurled Mjolnir into a swarm of battering hammers while Captain Carter flings herself from Star-T'Challa's rocket-propelled back with a magically reinforced shield to bludgeon Visi-tron senseless as Star-T'Challa jumps him and snatches the Soul Stone! As Carter grips a returning Mjolnir, T'Challa is blasted away. Strange clumps the Mjolnir cloud onto Visi-tron and Thor electrifies the mass of uru metal while Carter retrieves a shielded T'Challa. Strange covers their retreat with jets of flame from a triple-headed dragon and delivers a coup de grace with a portal to the zombie universe from EPISODE 5 that dumps millions of revenants onto Visi-tron's head! The zombified Scarlet Witch blasts Visi-tron with a massive hex but, although powered by Infinity Stone energy, she faces an android who has five of them and he obliterates the entire planet they're on! Ricocheting through Multiversal transit, Carter and company rendezvous with Kill-Panther and Gladiator Gamora on the Earth of Visi-tron's origin which is in the grip of a nuclear winter. Suddenly, Nuclear Natasha from EPISODE 8, roars past on her motorcycle and snatches the Soul Stone from Star-T'Challa! Carter orders the group to not attack and convinces this Natasha of their intentions based on the knowledge of her Natasha. She drops the names of her bio-father, Ivan, and her surrogate father, Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian, as well as mentioning that Nat only trusts three people meaning Peggy, Clint and Fury.

You might have been recommended this a billion times but since WHAT IF? is ending for the season, you’re almost finished with GAME OF THRONES and you mention you were a big anime fan, AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER might be an amazing show to react to. It’s technically not anime (it was created in the US) and you might have already seen this show, but if you haven’t I’m pretty sure you’ll love this series since it takes A LOT of inspiration from STAR WARS. The oath was not broken. At least the watcher rationalized it that way. Dr. Strange says and implies that everything was pre-planned and foretold. Breaking the arbitrary vow would be something along the lines of instantly deleting Ultron and all his derivatives across the entirety of existence and doing so instantaneously. That type of power wouldn't translate into entertainment. The series would be just a credit scroll and the marvel logo. In the MCU the Watcher is the closest thing to a omnipresent and omnipotent. He was immune to all of Ultrons lethal matter manipulation and every attack used against Ultron was defensive. The complete set of infinity stones represented the power of a single universe and this version of the Watcher exists as a omniversal entity. He replaced the "one above all" and "the living tribunal" because they cross over into our real world religions and religion and politics are bad for business.

Loved your reaction, and how you were all giggling, all the time. That was so lovely ! And agreed, Darker Strange was definitely the lynchpin of the entire team. He basically took on the role of both Captain America and Iron Man by sacrificing himself in the end (encased in "ice") but at the multiversal scale. As for why 2 Time stones work in the same universe, well, long story short, I guess it's because animation takes much more time to prepare than live action movies, so by the time they started production of the animation of What If? , the script of Loki (and the way the TVA works) was simply not yet finished. Which is why there is this abberation between the 2 shows. But I'm pretty sure Marvel will find a way to course correct it in a future movie or show. After all, that's what they excel at, retroactively retcon some of their more controversial past storylines by finding an awesome explanation in future movies.

The crusher’s failure was a true miracle. If you destroy an Infinity Gem, you destroy its concept within its home universe. The only reason the Sacred Timeline is still around is that Thanos had the wisdom to create the Infinite Mist.
