The meaning of what killmonger said "The difference between me and you is that you don't know the difference between me and you" was that Tony saw them both as orphans but he failed to see that he was a rich orphan who didn't have to struggle through life with nobody giving a shit about him like most orphans in America experience.

I love that you kept mentioning Benedict Cumberbatch's voice acting. He played the voice of Smaug from The Hobbit, but also the villain Dormamu from the first Dr. Strange movie.

Episode four is the first to bring back the original actor for every returning character. This includes leslie Bibb as Christine Everheart, the reporter Stephen was watching at the bar. Her last film was Iron Man 2, though she was also in viral marketing for Civil War. One of the trailers opened with Eric saving Tony. While many people were excited about him being good this time, I quietly remembered his setting people against each other in the film. It helped that I noticed his hypocrisy in said film.

I would have like to have seen a good Eric story, though. His actions were selfish and evil, but his backstory was heartbreaking. What If T'Chaka wasn't an isolationist prick?

It's really wonderful seeing your reactions to the "What if" series. This is kinda where a lot of people started to bad mouth marvel and not just appreciating the experience. I remember reading a bunch of these one shots as a kid and absolutely loving them. To see you so enthusiastically loving the series so far, just warms the heart. Thank You!

I keep asking myself what these people actually want out of all of this. There’s never been anything quite like it in the history of media and the best they can do is compare it to the stuff in their head. Like “It’s not how I wanted it to go” has any meaning beyond reflecting one’s own preferences. The fact they’re willing to take chances and make things that don’t necessarily appeal to everyone is a net positive, in my book. If they can’t, creativity goes out the window entirely.

I love "What If...?" because animation is so versatile creatively! I found it interesting that the zombies couldn't recognize anyone, but Wanda's love for Vision was so strong that she not only realized who he was but loved him AS a zombie. Now THAT'S a ride-or-die 😤🔥

I’m really excited to see what they do with the marvel zombies mini series! I’d be cool to see some of the phase 4 characters, I feel they could really create a cool story with this.

In epasode 4 notice when Strange changed an absolute moment in time the time stone changed from green to red. Red is the color of the Aether or the Reality Stone. I think that is the problem with changing an absolute moment. You can change an absolute moment with the time stone it requires the power of the reality stone to do that.

I think they were able to get a lot of voices to return because of the lead time of animation, I assume some other MCU projects featuring these actors were already in production (WandaVision, F&WS, Loki) so they had them available. I think a couple others came back out of goodwill (for instance I don't recall the young Howard Stark coming back for anything other than this but maybe I'm wrong). But it was already known to the fans when this series was announced that Downey, Evans, Johansson and Paltrow were done but the voices actors they got to substitute were really close.

This is a great way to refresh my memory with the lead-up to season 2. I'm so excited, What If is probably the most fun Marvel project post-Endgame, and comic book properties should be fun!

Episode 4 has a very similar story to another movie Rachel McAdams did with Eric Bana called Time Traveler's Wife. Definitely worth checking out

A lot of fans think that they pulled this episode premise out of nowhere but there is a MCU Cannon comic book showing that Prince T'Chala has been the Black panther since 2007 also in the original Black panther movie Everett Ross mention killmonger served in Iraq. It also goes unnoticed that the wakandans aren't just warriors their tech savvy. Like the fact Shuri build the second black panther and it was Prince T'CHALA who built the suit he wore in Captain America civil war. Something also was interesting to note that general Ross heard rumors about wakanda but in the movie Everett Ross didn't hear anything about the wakandans having a advanced City.

Yeah, Killmonger is easily my least favorite episode, followed by Zombies, and the one where all of the Avengers die. They're well-executed episodes, I just don't care for the grim stories in them, personally. Really excited for you to get to the last three, though!

In terms of ending credits...assuming you haven't watched them as of today, the last episode (episode 9) has a mid-credit scene. The rest have nothing. Also, (continuing to assume you haven't seen it yet) episode 9 will bring in someone you didn't get to see the story of because they didn't have the time to finish it when the episodes were airing. At the least, you will see the missing episode eventually in season 2.

I did watch them a few days ago! I watched the credits scene in Ep 9. Please ensure not to hint at anything about stuff I haven't seen in the MCU. Funny, the Killmonger Tony episode was my least favorite too the first time I watched it, but it grew on me with multiple viewings. It's one of the smartest eps.

You should avoid the cast list at the beginning. It will make the reaction more enjoyable to watch you find out as they appear. You should go as blind as you can
