I am at 5:58 and I am guessing that the reason Gohan thinks that as a SSJ could beat pre-Majin Androids but not beat post-Majin Androids despite his training is because he doubts himself and because he doesn't know how weak the Androids are in comparison to himself because he can't sense their energy so he doesn't know that Trunks alone in his base form is probably strong enough to not only fight both androids at the same time but also kill them of course this is only speculation but will probably be disproven if you decide that Babadi's magic can unlock the Androids potential (which is a lot) despite them not having KI and because of them having cybernetic parts
