Also kinda weird since it's one of the only energy attacks that wouldn't have been negatively affected by him losing his arm. I guess he either wasn't sure he could snipe one and get away with killing the other, or he didn't have as much practice with it as Piccolo and Gohan did in Superhero and didn't think he could pull it off in the time that he'd need to charge it. That and hit something vital enough to delay the Androids from getting serious and kicking his ass immediately after. Which to be fair, is pretty valid. Considering that 17 was kicking his ass with half power alone in the fight where he died originally, and then 18 just made that fight impossible for him to win straight out.

If they go back to the past they could wish it back with the Dragon Balls after dealing with the Cell Nonsense. Either that or adapt some tech from the Androids and give him a cool Robo Arm. It'd be significantly easier for them to actually get R&D going now that the Androids are gone, but Cell whether he happens or not is gonna throw a massive wrench in the plans.

Part 2. Gohan, Trunks , and Bulma start to try and help rebuild humanity. Gohan wonders what they could do and then he remembers the Kami’s lookout. With No guardian , the 3 decide to make this their base of operations, their home. Bulma begins to give the place a makeover, making it into Capsule Corp Lookout. She even starts studying the hyperbolic Time Chamber which perhaps could help her better develop her Time Machine. No better place to call home in this Timeline.

Good job on the writing for this one, Salad. I especially enjoyed how they didn't just train for a bunch of time and have a one sided fight, high five and go home to sit around half @$$ train for the next threat. They actually had to have a bit of luck with your first change, and then use effective tactics to outsmart the opponents. Bobidi would find out from cell that he can get far stronger and would use his magic to resurrect the androids for cell to absorb.

I just want to bring up something really bizarre about the Future timeline that no one ever talks about. I know this is far before Super so it wasn't considered, but why didn't the Androids get stronger with time passing? Not only does this explain why Gohan couldn't win alone, but it would also allow him to still grow to insanely high levels while keeping the main timeline in check. Future Trunks grows a lot from it, and that's what makes him so uniquely strong by the time of Dragon Ball Super. No, I'm not expecting the writers to have written SSJ Blue level 17 over the time, but I'm just saying that they should have been noticeably stronger than anyone in the main timeline.

here i leave another short what if: _the victory of Super Vegeta!! - what if vegeta defeated perfect cell??_ the time had come, vegeta was about to get out of the room of spirit and time but... nothing happened, everyone started to worry after the first hour, vegeta was supposed to leave the room by know but the door didn't open, "something happened??", after another hour they wanted to ask mr popo to force the entry, but then the door oppened. vegeta and trunks came out the room with the clothes severely damaged, the chest piece was gone, the blue expandex had a sleeve and the gloves missing, whatever vegeta was doing these extra couple hours should be really intense. trunks by the other hand was only using his shirt, the jacket was completely gone, his pants had several holes and both look battered, "did they had a fight or something??", vegeta refused to tell what he was doing these extra hours, or days inside, they just changed to bulma's suits and got ready to find cell. the fight went as originally, cell plead to vegeta to let him get his perfect form so vegeta could have a challenge, trunks got in the middle and fought cell and his father, cell blinded them and absorved 18, reaching his perfect form, everyone were terrified except by 1 person, vegeta. vegeta clapped in sarcastic way, telling cell that now he matched his power, but he hoped that wasn't all he had, cell, full of confidence, told vegeta that he made a mistake, because now he was unstoppable, vegeta smirked and provoked cell to fight him, both warriors disappeared as they started fighting, cell overwhelmed vegeta with his new strength, but something was off, despite cell having advantage, he felt that his attacks against vegeta weren't having the desired effect. this thought was confirmed when vegeta smirked cleaning off the blood of his lip, he was indeed stronger, but vegeta wanted cell to go all out, cell felt uneasy but he shrugged it off and kept fighting as they raised their power, but soon enough he saw it even if he was fighting vegeta with almost all his power, he felt vegeta wasn't really shaken, in fact he looked more confident, as he told cell that even in that situation, vegeta wasn't giving all the power he had, so he asked, no, HE ORDERED cell to use all his power, otherwise, vegeta would exterminate him. cell lost it, cursing vegeta while he put his hands on a cup in front of him, charging a kame hame ha with every inch of his power they he launched against vegeta, vegeta by his side had a flash of memory, remembering the first time he saw that technique, so he thought that the best way to end this was responding with a galick gun, vegeta charged his attack and launched it against cell, as the beams clashed and started to struggle cell yelled how he was gonna kill vegeta, and then he was going to kill the earthlings one by one, starting with his stupid kid and family, vegeta, suddenly vegeta expression changed, and with a sign of rage on his face pured more power into his attack, slowly pushing cell's. cell tried to fight back, pushing but it was useless, for every inch or extra power he putted, vegeta responded with ten times more, then finally cell lost the battle, as he saw the beam coming towards him he knew, it was over, even his perfect form wasn't enough, cell disintegrated with only one emotion left... fear... THE END
