This What if is a great idea, god of Destruction trainee Gohan, Heeters controls Freeza force, Merus finds Broly and trains him, Morro prison break kills everyone on Namak after wishes, Revenge of the last survivor, the tournament of power with one year time training, universe 6 mini tournament, Android 16, 15, 14 and 13 awakes. With only two fighters on earth with no Dragon balls, this story can be interesting, and no revival of dead people or meeting them, the dark future for a reason. Future Gohan is afraid to love anyone because they may die before him, his goal for becoming strong is to protect the weak so that they do suffer like him.

I'm going to bring up one minor plot-hole with no New Namek. You're right that it would be difficult, and they wouldn't be able to find it without Goku & Instant Transmission. BUT! They COULD find Yardraat! Gohan and Trunks would be able to use the navigational data from Goku's pod to find planet Yardraat, and go there to LEARN instant transmissipn. That would allow them to find New Namek. Not to mention the fact that Spirit Control training would be a major boon to them moving forward, and I feel lile they'd both learn it faster than Goku did. That said their INTENTION wouldn't be to learn Instant Transmission, just to train lile Goku trained, and once they learn Instant Transmissipn they just get the idea to find New Namek

there’s an issue with this:they dont have the pod Goku came back to earth with, its either lost or definitely was destroyed while the androids were destroying the earth. and even if it wasn’t how would they get to new namek? they dont know how far new namek is or which direction to even look. when king kai told Goku he pointed him in the right direction, Gohan nor Trunks would have that knowledge not even Bulma would, even with her being smart she barely has the resources she needs to do something like that and it could take her literal years to find yardrat that way and to build a ship with the very little resources she got would take up even more time

@@james-iz3nu The pod itself? Oh yeah, that'd be toast. BUT the DATA from the pod would have been fine. There's NO way that Bulma wouldn't have downloaded that data after Goku arrived back on Earth originally. The question is would that data survive? And I feel like she would have had multiple back-ups, and while most wouldn't have survived, I'm sure at least ONE of them would have. As for how long it takes to BUILD the ship? That'd probably take a couple years. But it'd be part of it I feel. As for the whole 'King Kai helping' Salad even MENTIONS in the video that it only happened in the anime, not in the manga. In the manga, Goku found New Namek on his own. So IF Gohan had learned Instant Transmission, all it would take is one day of being nostalgic, and celebrating the people who passed, and Gohan would be thinking of Piccolo... And he senses a far away power close to Piccolo's and he'd think about teleporting over there almost immediately.

What if a Cell Jr. survived? (I know that they somehow all did in the manga, but let's ignore that)

Here's what I think would happen. Initially, Jr would still be very cruel but also afraid of gohan's power. So, he'd try to find a way to get revenge on gohan, but first has to stay in hiding. He'd find a secret red ribbon base (not a lab, just a regular base) where he'll train to grow stronger. However, he faces many issues. First (based on the manga), he can't grow up naturally, but also he's kinda dumb, not knowing how to talk and living a bit like a beast. Through the years, he'd learn the basics, becoming similar in intelligence to goku at the beginning of dragon ball. He'd be sighted a few times which woumd keep gohan a bit more focused on training than usual. The first real breakthrough happens when he srumbles into goten who just ran away after turning into a super saiyan and hitting chi chi. He would play friends with goten to get a bit of info and train with him to try to grow stronger. In turn, this would make goten grow stronger as well, but also raise the suspicions of gohan who chases after goten. When he sees Jr, gohan immediately tries to eradicate him, but goten gets in the way, allowing Jr to do a solar flare ald escape. After that, Jr goes back into hiding in his base. Remaining hidden, he survives the buu saga until kid buu destroys earth, he is almost killed but barely survives and regenerate. He gets a decent zenkai and grows up a bit, which activates some of his memories. He decides to leave the now destroyed earth. He has a few memories transmited by cell, mainly about the existence of the frieza force. By travelling through space, he finds a few frieza force scouts and joins a squad. He is mainly looking for alien tech to potentially boost himself and grow up more. During his time in the frieza force, he somewhat enjoys consuering worlds, but he gets bored of it quickly, bein more interested in reaching his own perfection rather than cruelty. So, a few years later, when he learns that earth was brought back, he goes back to it, thinking he's finally ready to face gohan. And, he ambushes gohan after a long day at school, at first putting a lot of pressure on gohan. However, this gohan had been keeping up a tiny bit with training, and the rage from seeing a cell jr is enough to make him go into ultimate and decimate Jr. However, Jr had made one major upgrade to his body, he implanted himself an engine replacing his normal blood by liquid from healing pods, thus boosting his regeneration to levels close to buu. So, when he sees that he won't win, he uses that to preserve a part of his body and survive. He originally wanted to leave earth again, but when he goes back into his old base, he stumbles into carmine who's starting to rebuild the red ribbon army. He accompanies him to his base and makes a deal with him. He gives him sample of his dna, and memories of android schematics, and in exchange when the research is done, he wants to benefitiate from it. He stays on earth a few months until he sees the frieza force reviving frieza. So, he decides to go with them back to space to train with frieza. He trains with frieza for a few weeks until frieza becomes way stronger than him and deems him unworthy of training with him. 4 months later, they go back to earth and confront the z fighters. However, this time gohan kept up with his training more and is able to contend with frieza, forcing him to go into his golden form, at which point frieza demolishes gohan. But, right before he deals the killing blow, Jr stabs frieza from the back and absorbs a fraction of his energy before being blasted away. Indeed, he knows frieza wants to destroy earth but he can't let that happen. Right after, goku and vegeta arrive and quickly deal with the injured and exhausted frieza. Because Jr technically helped them, they decide to let him leave, knowing he isn't strong enough to fight them anyways. So, he goes right back into hiding at the red ribbon base. During that time, he finally gains the upgrades he needs to reach an adult form. Those being an energy absorption device, data from recent fights on earth, and an infinite energy engine. This process takes a very long time, so he doesn't do anything during the goku black arc except spy on the z fighters. The goku black arc goes as normal, except gohan makes trunks get the potential unleash ritual. Once everything is settled, Jr reveals himself once again to gohan. And this time, he is finally able to go blow for blow with him. He manages to win after a very long fight thanks to the infinite engine. But, he decides to spare gohan as he mostly got over his desire for revenge and thinks it's better to let gohan live so he can fight him again. Before leaving, he tells gohan about the red ribbon base as he has no need for them anymore. Thus, after gohan heals, there is an early version of the superhero movie with gohan, piccolo, goten and trunks fighting the android soldiers of the red ribbon army. Then, comes the tournament of power. Instead of reviving frieza, gohan proposes to recruit Jr who is a bit more trustworthy. Since it takes way less time to recruit him, they have a few hours to spend in the hyperbolic time chamber, which actually allows buu to have his sleep ald join the team, replacing one of the humans. With him and buu, the tournament goes much smoother, as Jr is able to support many fighters with his data on them, and is able to give a lot of energy to restore the exhausted fighters. I'd say he mostly takes the place of 17, instantly learning the barrier technique, and growing stronger quickly due to his abuse of zenkais thanks to his regen. In the end, only goku, gohan and Jr remain in the ring against jiren, with gohan and Jr being the ones to sacrifice themselves to push him out. Goku is the mvp and makes the wish to bring back the universes. After the tournament, Jr decides to leave earth for a while to discover new techniques on other planets and become the strongest fighter in the multiverse. We see a few glimpses of him through the arcs, notably him training on yardrat when vegeta goes there, and him taking part to the battle against gas. Despite frieza beong dead, there's still a broly arc. In his travels, Jr actually found vampa and developed a little rivalry with broly as he is the perfect training partner. He comes back to vampa several times, and one day paragus dies of old age. So, he decides to take broly to earth so that he will grow even stronger
