The only reason Godzilla fought Mechagodzilla in the state he was in at the end of GvK was because of plot. Godzilla wouldn’t have chased after a signal of Ghidorah knowing how powerful Ghidorah was without being full power. Realistically he would have done exactly what he did in GxK and tried to gain as much energy as possible before fighting Mechagodzilla.

He did so in this film because he WAS powerful enough to kill Ghidorah. He did so at the end of Godzilla KOTM and has grown much stronger since then,so he knew he was capable of killing Ghidorah if he showed up again. The only reason mechagoczilla kicked gozilla's ass is because Godzilla just spent the entire day and night fighting Kong,so he wasn't in prime condition. If he was how he was at the start of the film,he would've killed mechagoczilla.

The only reason he was able to kill Ghidorah was because he had gotten that boost from serizawa, at the end of KOTM he had used up almost ALL of his energy including his atomic energy because of going thermonuclear. This led to him almost starving to death while looking for a new place to rest throughout the Godzilla Dominion comic. And yes while at the end of the comic he found a place to rest, he was not close to fully recovering his energy even by the start of GvK and because of him fighting Kong all night in GvK he pretty much dropped down to the energy levels he was at during Godzilla Dominion. He was not in the right health from the start of GvK to fight Mechagodzilla let alone Ghidorah which is who he thought it was. Throughout GvK he was nowhere close his max energy output which makes the fact that he could drill to hollow earth even more impressive.

Here’s how I imagine it. 9:03 As the skar king watches his army fight the surface titans he notices mechagodzilla’s proton scream charge up. Suddenly a giant red beam is shot from the mech’s mouth slicing the apes in half and destroying the ground, skar king known for his relentless and horrible actions feels a small amount of guilt as he thinks “maybe I treated them too harshly” but it’s too late as more than 2/3 of his army is dead. For me it would go like this: Kong was brought back to life by a ship with enough energy to power a city. Humans seeing that Kong is dead and a greater threat exists, will use this ship for immobilizing Mechagodzilla for a few seconds, allowing Godzilla to injure him quite seriously with his atomic breath. The fight would resume, a little more balanced, but Godzilla would still be in difficulty. The humans at Apex Cybernitic seeing that MechaGodzilla may be weakened and wanting to help Godzilla, would use the drink they have available to destabilize MechaGodzilla allowing Godzilla to kill him. Several years later, Godzilla would strengthen in energy until he evolved but as Kong would not intervene, Godzilla would harvest more energies, so he would be stronger than in gxk. Mothra would wake up and like in the movie, deal with Scar's army while Godzilla would fight Shimo and Scar. Godzilla, thanks to his new power, could fight both at the same time (especially since Kong never met Scar, Scar would not have his axe) and Godzilla, thanks to his high intelligence, would be able to kill Scar. Shimo, grateful, would bow. And since we don't know what happens next, I can't say anything more. Very good video.

I feel like at some point Shimo would realise that the Mecha Godzilla is not a good guy, She'd see him needlessly destroying things and ordering other titans around and just go "Oh wait this is just Skar but worse" then fight the Mecha. Also I was lowkey expecting one of the Mothras to just ressurect Godzilla not gonna lie. I know that this is just a what if scenario but if this happened in the actual movie Godzila would either just not die or get resurrected one way or another, either by Mothra, by humans nuking his corpse or a combination of the two, maybe the nuke would only work because of Mothra's sacrifice in KoTM, either way they'd replace or bring them back one way or another. They could even do something like "Oh Kong's brain was somehow still intact" and then bring him back by turning him into a cyborg or just replace him with Suko, but Suko not having any connection to Kong at this point wouldn't make much sense plot wise.

That was really good ngl, but i disagree with the ending bit, shimo would be able to dispatch all the titans with ease, and even if she focuses on mechagodzilla afterwards, when charging at mechagodzilla, i see no reason why skar king wouldn't just command shimo to shoot her beam at the other titans, and since they don't have thermal manipulation like godzilla, they would either be completely trapped in ice, or extremely injured, leaving only mechagodzilla to be dealt with. And along with 2 mothras, they are too good of a support for skar king for mechagodzilla's army to deal with (apart from maybe a few titans, but most of them would not be able to handle it), their combined god rays and silks would immobilize every single titan on the battlefield, which would make it way easier for skar king's army and shimo to pick off the titans. Apart from that i agree with everything else in the video

Firstly, it's great to see you back! Secondly, I do largely agree things would get extremely destructive and the outcome is certainly possible. Possible alternatives would be things going more sideways for MG when the Mothras and Skar Kings army get involved. I think Shimo's beam could almost instantly nullify a majority of the Titans so it would only take a few blasts for her to severely diminish Mechagodzilla's army. Monarch might also be able to disrupt MG's control via another ORCA device and tilt the odds. Even if a bunch of apes die, a combination of getting dog piled by a good dozen or more apes + mothra webbing would be able to hold down MG.

that's very interesting that you pointed this out. In this scenario, I realized that would mess with the whole thing so to give an exciting and interesting video I kind of just bypassed that but in reality, this whole thing would've taken weeks so mechagodzilla would indeed have shut down and without an alpha to follow, the surface titans would just do their own thing. However, it's been said that a titan like Rodan has the capabilities to become an alpha titan so it'd be interesting to explore what titan would step up and become the new alpha.

Now I’m a bit dusty on Godzilla knowledge but my personal take on how this would go would be a bit different mainly after Godzilla kills Kong, once he senses Ghidora’s presence after he kills Kong at Hong Kong, he would notice or feel himself too weak to fight off whatever has Ghidora’s presence and either 1. Go find Mothra in the hollow earth or find wherever she has lay her egg and ask for her help to fight off the threat, or if this timeline, Mothra isn’t ready to hatch or still is “dead” then Godzilla might rest up a bit, then head to Antarctica to ask Tiamut to leave so he can evolve into Pinkzilla, most likely ending in a confrontation between the two titans and Godzilla doing what he did to Tiamut in GxK, evolve to face the threat at hand and go back into the MechaGodzilla fight either with the help of Mothra and potentially going Thermonuclear again like in King of the Monsters, or face MechaGodzilla as Evolved Godzilla/Pinkzilla and most likely come out on top in their battle. Now this is all just my personal take on how this fight will go as Godzilla is pretty smart to assess when he might need to evolve or rest to get the strength needed to face a stronger foe as we’ve seen in GxK, or ask for help from another titan like Mothra. If there was an alternative movie made with this ending then we would get Pinkzilla early or Mothra coming back early but don’t know how audiences would take it and I could just be spitting nonsense haha.
