Raditz would not start that fight after seeing their power levels, he is smart, opportunist and a coward in a sense. He would either go away and come back with Vegeta and Nappa or stay on earth abusing Goku's mercy until Vegeta and Nappa arrived to settle things. The second scenario actually opens up a possibility for him turning good like the What If Raditz Turned Good made by MasakoX.

Here's another what if idea: What if Broly landed on Yardrat? Let's assume that Paragus was killed back in Planet Vegeta by the king, leading to Broly being raised by the Yardratians and learned Spirit Control. Years later, Goku arrives after defeating Frieza in Namek and trains with Broly, inviting the saiyan to come with him to Earth. Thanks to his calmed life on Yardrat, Broly is more in control over his power and offers the Z Fighters to teach them Instant Transmission, but by the time the Androids appeared, the only ones who managed to learn it were Gohan and Piccolo.

One thing I find weird about this is Raditz dying. Goku only kills when he has no other choice, but since Goku and Broly are both strong enough to keep Raditz in check, I think it would be far more likely that they would spare Raditz like Goku did with Vegeta.

I think there's two factors involved here. 1. "What if Raditz Lived" is kinda close to MasakoX's "What if Raditz turned good" what-if and subsequent Dragonball R&R series. I've noticed that ever since Dragonball R&R became a thing other what-if-ers have been kinda avoiding that territory. Probably out of respect. 2. Raditz really isn't the focus here either. I think Carthu is trying to keep the focus specifically to Broly in order to not introduce unnecessary variables that could potentially add chaos (using the scientific definition) to the story.

Generally when you have more than one character powerful enough to take on Vegeta at that point, Vegeta's chances of survival go WAY down since Goku's not the only one who calls the shots at that point anymore. Then again, in this case that other character's another Saiyan, and one without any reason (that they know of) to want Vegeta dead, so who knows what would happen.

@@VestedUTuber Well, both Broly and Goku would be close to Vegeta at this point. So the fight could be like the end of Sayian Saga, but if Vegeta fough two Gokus. Itd be an intense fight, but Vegeta would lose before putting anyone in the hospital. And since Goku is merciful and Broly is normally kind, they probably would spare Vegeta too. There would be no reason to go to Namek, cause the dragon balls would still exist, and nobody of the main cast dies.... But then, Freeza would still go to Namek and without anyone there to stop him, he would make himself immortal. Before destroying that planet. He wouldn't have any reason to go to earth right away, but being an evil overlord, Freeza would expand his empire, aiming to conquer earth eventually. Also, the Androids and Cell would be stronger, cause there are far more sayian samples to go by. Broly's potential specifically, being rediculously high.

The reason Vegeta's chances of survival are lower here isn't because of anyone finishing him off at the end, but because there's a high chance of a full power attack from Broly just vaporizing him - especially if Broly goes berserk at some point during that fight.

I'm curious if Broly being with the cast at the start will give him a relationship with Bulma, Launch, or someone else? I mean even though much wasn't explained in Broly relationships with his new friends to what we know of Goku's. Remember Bulma once thought of attraction to Goku after the third Dragon Ball tournament, but dismissed it for various reasons. Broly being more closer in age while technically being more polite and possibly aware of human interaction better thanks to being raised a bit longer with Grandpa Gohan could make it possible. Especially if Vegeta is killed in this scenario.

Though that is splitting hairs and doesn't effect Dragon Ball or Z till the Cell saga. Pretty much splitting hairs 😂 Kinda wish in a slight critique to the vid/story that we got more info/interaction with the rest of the cast with Broly. Though the brother like Bond with Goku and relationship with Grandpa Gohan was nice. Hopefully next vid might go in depth at the rest of the cast since Carthas did mention positive gains for them in general. Hopefully that is more than just bigger power levels by the time Vegeta and Nappa show up. Like say Tien actually training/teaching others earlier during Goku and Chi Chi having Gohan and he is actually a good teacher. Not the joke in Super... Krillin does more constant training with Roshi during that said time and actually has a reputation in the nearby city to the island as an unofficial officer/protector. Maybe as I hope/suggest that Launch isn't just forgotten and left out of the picture. Maybe Kami uses the Dragon Balls to become young once more and start becoming the Guardian of Earth beyond just watching things. With Broly around Goku and family maybe Chi Chi eases a bit off on Gohan only studying solely so Gohan has some positive early training to some extent. I can go way off track and I've gone on way to much as is... Shouldn't type these when I'm slightly inebriated 🤣

Seeing as how badly the Orange Duo outstrips Raditz, and how merciful Goku normally is, I dont think they would have killed Raditz. At most, they probably would rough him up a little. Completely trashing Raditz on just their "warm up". While Raditz being the sly coward that he is, probably would beg for mercy and play the "good guy act", winning their trust, while keeping Vegeta's arrival a secret. Letting a chance where Raditz could possibly become a genuine good guy as he spends more time on earth. While Goku and Broly already being 16,000 at this point, would probably reach Vegeta's level of 18,000 even with just normal, casual training. That said, great video. Really love the brotherly bond you gave Goku with Broly. Curious how the relationships with the other dragon ball characters end up.
