Damon, please remember that the Androids of Future Trunks' Timeline and Imperfect Cell of Imperfect Cell's Timeline come from variations of the canon continuity and so do not have any knowledge whatsoever about your version of Son Goku's powers and abilities that your version of Son Goku had learned on Planet Yardrat. Also, could you please have Son Goku, Son Gohan, Future Trunks, and Son Goten learn Super Saiyan 3 and completely master the form? Since I think that Super Saiyan 2's very own version of Ultra Super Saiyan could be Super Saiyan 3 and that with much greater control than normal over Ki would be very helpful in order to attain and then master Super Saiyan 3.

The Future Trunks of the What If is the original, but when he goes to the past, instead of the normal one, it's a different version entirely, multiverse theory in a nutshell. You travel to the past, but can't change your future, you can change the present version though, like Trunks did, but unfortunately, you and your time doesn't change. You pretty much made a new timeline in your universe.

I disagree with Goku learning Yardrats techniques so fast...still he would learn to master Super Saiyan through his own method...similar to the manga. As for 'Forced Spirit Fission'...that would remain a "Vegeta move" because it just doesn't suit Goku's character to use such a strategical/tactical ability like that...it just seems like Torrytaro has finally set Vegeta up to kill the Villian after a long arduous battle.
