Finally. Someone who doesn’t drastically buff goku up and make him “above the grand priest and angels” and throwing goku’s character to the side by making him hate everyone especially the gods and angels. overall just making them semi- relatable to the main story with a couple of twist that will overall change dragon ball instead of throwing character development over the years pointless.

Goku development is this story is good but vegeta's is even better. throughout this entire series my favourite part of it was always vegeta's development. this is the vegeta we should have gotten in super, the vegeta that should have been in super after buu. man I love this

I think Raditz development is also notable to me. he become a noble person in contrast to what he was at the beginning. His character change from the disposable pawn of the saiyans to the reliable protecter of the universe. Compare to the canon, Both Raditz is complete as a character but this Raditz feel more meaningful to me.

This series actually gave me an idea. What if Bulma betrayed Goku after realizing just how powerful and inhuman he is? Think about it she was almost crushed by a Giant Ape Goku. And was one of the first people to learn about him soloing the entire RRA. She knows how dangerous he is. She knows he’s special. And I don’t think it’s that hard to imagine her falling into the “genius billionaire villain captures and experiments on hero out of fear or for advancement” trope that is common in comic books. And with Bulma being technically the closest thing to a mother/older sister figure in Goku’s life, this would ruin him a lot worse than a betrayal by Kami

@@takashiinstinct9056 No I’m thinking later on in the story after she sees the wreckage of the RRA or Pilaf’s castle her fear and wonder would get the best of her. No 16 year old girl would just see a boy with a tail and think “yes… belongs in a lab” in the Dragon Ball world. Also for the second reply, Bulma reverse engineered and created FTL space crafts and her father invented the technology to turn several ton objects into small tubes that way less than a kilogram. She could probably create something that could hold 12 year old Goku for at least a while. Plus Goku trusts her.

She wasn’t able to ride the nimbus while characters like ChiChi, Goku, Ariel, and young Roshi were. Plus it’s possible for her to go through with the plan early on but ends up feeling guilty later on like what Masako did with Hercule.
