I always assumed Jango was aware that the clones were meant to turn on the Jedi. Look closely at his kowing smile when he says "They'll do their job well". This also came from the old Legends Jango backstory where he hated the Jedi for killing his Mandalorian clan when he was still Mando. He's now re-canonized as at least a former Mando foundling. Plus new canon says he was chosen not only for being human, not only for being the best bounty hunter but also his discretion (aka his ability to keep secrets). So I always assumed he may not know extreme details but the fact he knew the army was for the Republic and the Separatist arms buildup. He had to have known a conspiracy was afoot.

Good point. I'd never thought of that. I guess I'd assumed that Palpatine and Dooku would want as few people knowing as possible but this does make sense!

This is an awesome idea and storyline! I do feel that none of this is within jango's character though. In the comics of jango's origin story he absolutely hates Jedi and would never do anything to protect Jedi even for boba.

Here is another what if idea for you. What if The Imperial Army, Navy, and Higher Ups overthrew Sidious? This can have two versions: 1: The Imperial Forces after Episode 4 grow to worry that Sidious's Sith plans are going to lead the Empire that the Imperials themselves have built the past 20 years to destruction as Rebellion is now spreading after manpower and credits were lost when the Death Star was destroyed along with the loss of Tarkin. They preform a coup to overthrow the Emperor and end the rule of Sith to allow true Imperial rule so they can destroy this rebellion. This would most likely cause another layer to the Galactic Civil War with The Rebellion VS Emperor Loyalists VS Imperial Forces. 2: Just a bit before Episode 4, the long peace that has filled the Empire is starting to end as rebellions spread but the Imperial forces fear they are being held back. Leaders such as Tarkin begin to ponder the alternative option of pure Imperial rule over the Galaxy then that of the Emperor. Just like in the other version a divide would form but it would be more clear cut with Imperials under Tarkin and such VS the Emperor and Vader with those loyal to them with figures like Thrawn divided on which form of order they should join.

What if shortly after Revenge of the Sith, Death Vader identity as Anakin was exposed to the whole Galaxy? let say for example, the recording of Anakin inside the Jedi Temple during Order 66 that Obi Wan and Yoda saw or the one the R2-D2 recording of Anakin attack Padme on Mustafar in legends. If both of them were put up on the HoloNet for all to see, how would the Galaxy react to such a thing?

The rest of the Republic will definitely not take this well and most certainly Vader would be a worst off in this situations than he already was. At least in the normal timeline, he could hind from his past but not in this one!
