What if Keijiro Stayed with the Oni? (Onimusha What-If)

There have been many noteable allies to the Oni that have come and gone over the years, some appearing for almost criminally brief periods of time, but to me, the biggest example of this is Keijiro Maeda. Being a now adult Yumemaru, he had a vested interest of aiding Samanosuke and Kaede against the Genma in order to repay them for saving his and Yuki's lives during the events of Warlords, only for him to completely vanish from the story never to be seen again, so what if he actually stuck around after the events of Blade Warriors, and following through on his vow to help them?
My word, this took far longer to put together than I expected! I initially started work on this while I was on holiday at the beginning of September, and only now have I finally managed to get it finished. I'm at least thankful that I was able to get this done before the end of the year, but I must apologise regardless. I will say that while I'm not sure whether or not it's my favourite scenario overall so far, a few storylines that I managed to incorporate and expand on have became individual favourites, and I'm still very happy with how it turned out overall!

So happy to get another one of these before the new year, I love these What If's so much. And fantastic to explore having Keijiro involved in the story beyond Blade Warriors. The good guys did seem a bit OP by the end but in a way that was quite satisfying, getting such a triumphant finale. Also loved seeing more of Juju, she's a character that's fascinated me ever since you first brought her up and one of the reasons I want to read the manga. Fantastic work as always, can't wait for the next one.
