The theme could have been a lot better in my opinion, choosing the shadowlands, something that not only didnt exist at the time of the exspansion but also already was introduced in hearthstone not long ago is not a great idea. Any part of northrend would make a lot more sense and it has a lot of things thst could be introduced in a miniset.

Though I like the name Quilt-a-Boar, Quillboars weren't meant to synergize outside of Battleground I think Warrior's build card would fuse two Taunt minions Also, I hope Sylvanas returns minions that got in her hand, since Lost Jade Pendant and probably Shadowstep would be in rotation

I didn't really consider that interaction for Sylvanas, but that seems like it'd be the fair way to do it. Also, while Quilboar may have been a mostly a Battlegrounds mechanic Blizzard do keep printing minions with the type for Standard, and this spell doesn't really bring much synergy for Quilboar beyond giving you tokens for a potential menagerie deck.

Not having anything cool for deathknight in the original deathknight expansion is sad, feels like a missed opportunity. This would probably be the last time hearthstone would ever go back to the home of the deathknights and they don't even get a hero for it? All we have is the headless horseman!

Wouldn't it feel unfair if the Main Set was re-released to Hearthstone with cards for only 9 of the 11 classes? This miiiiiight not be the last time I'm taking us back to the home of the Death Knights.

I think their is some cool stuff, but I feel like the flavor was stronger in your other Minisets. And the name is a bit wordy. To me Sanctum of Domination just does not roll of the tongue, unlike other sets. Maybe Sanctum of Death would work better in terms of pronounceabillity. I really Like Sylvanus and the new cycle surrounding heroes. But the Build-a-mechanic feels like it is taking to much space, as well as making building a beast stick out like a sore thumb as it‘s a heropower.

I think a Rpgue versoon of a the build cards would be fun, where you discover two minions from another class, and combine them into a dual-class card. Fun for burgle synergies

2:29 I think it'd be better to do that on every standard year's last miniset. Making it like that would make Lost Jade Pendant the only jade card for a whole year if we respected the original cycles, and that doesn't feel quite right :c

I don't know if it really matters since the Mini-Sets would be releasing today. I haven't really given that much thought into how long they would each stay in rotation, but since today is the starting point I think it works better that we follow every third of their releases. I'd be willing to change my mind if more people share your sentiment though.

I think if you buff Kel’Thuzad and make him a 3 blood rune death knight card he’d be better and very unique possibly bringing 3 rune back to meta!

My only real criticism is that Dominated Necrolord could definitely be an entirely different species or creature. Undead feels odd in combination with Shaman’s more shadowy, token based Spirit themes. Maybe something not undead? Love Quilt-a-Boar

I'll be honest, I mostly chose that art for Dominated Necrolord because it was something Shadowlands-related, which this set was based on. I could definitely see it being a giant Spirit Wolf or something like that instead (though I would note that all of Shaman's spirit tokens do have the Undead minion type).

I don't really play Battlegrounds so I'd probably have a hard time balancing the cards I'd make. Maybe one day if I start getting into Battlegrounds myself.

The only problem that i have with it is that knight's of the frozen throne shouldnt be combined with shadowlands as we kill lich king in Kotft and shadowlands came by good 20-25 years later ( in wow lore) So it kinda doesnt make sense

It was mostly to continue the story of Death. If we dealt with the leader of the Scourge in KotFT, it just seemed as if there were no way up from there, at least not on Azeroth. This Mini-Set would've had to be about a lesser Scourge character than the Lich King, and that just seemed too underwhelming to me so I decided to make it about the "true masters" of the Scourge instead; the Mawsworn.

The hero tutor is a really bad idea, mostly because Guff exists so if it were to exist that card would need a change

Yeah, I could see that card causing trouble in Wild, but Wild is already such a cesspool that it's impossible to balance cards for that game mode. Unless the card is a problem in Standard it's not really a problem to me.

@BlututhHS I think the moment they let any class go above 10 max mana is when the problem is a issue. Warrior now has access to 16 and druid has 26 mana if the ramp spell and Guff are used in the right sequence. Druid is just a problem

honestly I am kinda dissapointed bcs when I clicked on this video I hoped for dh and dk hero cards (even if in dk case it would be dk dk) but insted hero card wise there was sylvana that sounds like goofy card but tbh is weak and only positive thing was 3 mana 2/4 draw a hero card bcs hs was lacking this mechanic (ok there were some cards that also had other interactions with it but thing I was hoping for the most)

That was actually my original plan (I'd even made a DH hero card and everything), but then while working on this I just got the idea for a new series! Eventually (if people liked it) this series would get to DH and DK hero cards for KotFT, and I think it'd just work better that way overall.
