What if the Grand Tournament got a Mini-Set?!

Many older Hearthstone expansions never got a Mini-Set! Join me as I imagine what a Mini-Set for the Grand Tournament could like TODAY!

I always like the reveal mechanic. It'd be cool they had some to make you reveal a card from your opponent hand

Mounted Berserker is my favorite out of this set. But I do think that “reveal a card from both players hands. Make them fight!” would be a lot more playable because the current version is def a meme card.

I really like these cards. I think Darion could have just have rush maybe, or be a 2/3. Really cool! Your take on the Joust cards are a really nice twist on it. It would be awesome if the next miniset contained keywords for the GvG and Grand Tournaments, but the next proper expansion is simply old gods, which is a little weird. Maybe the Gadgetzan miniset should have mechanics from four sets? Either way, awesome video!

I'm assuming you're referring to how every third Mini-Set uses keywords from the last two expansions. I had a similar thought, so I was already playing with the idea of using GvG and TGT keywords in the next one, but now that you wrote this I am almost certainly going to. I think it'd work well too since Old Gods didn't have a keyword, so I could make cards like "Inspire: Give your C'Thun +1/+1" or something 😮

I'm afraid those are all the cards I made. In order to keep up with weekly uploads on top of real life stuff I just have to make some shortcuts every now and then, such as only making the cards that are actually gonna be shown in the video.

It feels weird for Tyrion to be a neutral card. I'm not that familiar with the WoW universe, but surely other picks would have fitted the card flavor

Well Tirion was the one who organized the Grand Tournament in WoW lore, so it seemed obvious to me that he would play a role in the Mini-Set, and since he was THE name behind it, it just made sense to make him the main Neutral legendary of the set, similar to how Neptulon became the main Neutral of the Sunken City Mini-Set despite previously being a Shaman card.

You clearly dont know how much time it wouls take to source all these images or pay artists to make ones that are in brand
