i think if micah died in jail dutch would become distrusting of arthur as he ignored or disobeyed a direct order. end of the day same result arthur dies of tb and dutch goes distrustful of john and arthur same result in my opinion

I think without Michah Cleet and Joe being in the gang in Beaver Hollow the girls, Uncle and Pearson may not have left like they did. They only seem to have left right after Cleet and Joe started hanging around and make in game comments to Arthur about not being comfortable with them around.

It's kinda funny, because in my first playthrough with little to no knowledge about the game, I instantly hated Micah, cuz he terrorized Sadie, and said some racist shit. So I put off that mission as much as I could, hoping it would go away if I waited long enough (like I said, didn't know much about the game). I just find it amusing that I wanted to let him hang instinctively, without even knowing he was the rat.

Then getting outta Rhodes would have been more difficult, and getting Cornwall’s papers might have taken more time because Dutch would have needed someone “loyal” to secure the information and someone misguided but loyal, to protect him from reprisal from Leviticus’ men.

You technically can do this in game but the mission is failed because of it. But yeah, killing micha would remove the toxic chaos but would really go that differently?

What a what if idea and I can see it happening like this after the escape form strawberry and Micah give Arthur his second gun holster the events of what just happened and what happened in blackwater would play out in Arthur head and than he would make the decision. Arthur "Hey Micah do you know Dutch saying". Micah "Yeah it saves fellas that need saving and feed fellas that need feeding, why" And this is something I would love to hear Arthur say. Arthur "And kill fellas that need killing" Arthur said before shoting Micah in the side casueing him to fall off his horse. Micah "What are you doing Morgan" Arthur "And you need killing" Before finishing him off and riding away.

Arthur would still get TB and the O'Driscoll locked up with micha would still be alive along with half the population of strawberry..... Imo what would be more interesting is what if davey callendar lived a little bit more longer like past colter and the botched train robbery but before the gang goes to san Denis and the braithwaits & grays ?

This could be a fun version of RDR2. Imagine an expansion called something like "RDR2: A new sunrise" or something like that. The expansion starts with Micah in prison and you now have 2 options: let him hang or Arthur kills Micah. Depending on your choice, the game will have 2+ different scenarios. If Arthur kills Micah there could be a scene in which Arthur lies about Micah being killed by guards or something and Dutch would "buy it", but begin to slowly distrust Arthur. Any thought?

Sorry if this has been answered, why did Dutch not trust Arthur and Hosea? I wanted to kill Micah at that stage. Was annoyed the story forced me to spring him and horrified by the result.

Pretty much the good ending I mean indeed let's say Arthur kills Micah in the back just after they did the massacre in Strawbarry all Arthur would have to say is that they had so much law after them that Micah got shot by the law. I mean they already had pinkertons on them and after making that much noise as well it's not unthinkble they would try to kill eather Micah or Arthur during their escape
